This is great news. Getting rid of these players for draft picks a second round and a 6th round. GREAT SUCCESS!!!

I could catch 60 passes too if nobody covered me, just like Welker.

You people who are in favor of letting Welker go because "a 2nd round pick is a bargain!" are obviously fools. Wes is PROVEN VALUE. The draft is hit or miss. What magic crystal ball do you have that says '100% positive the Dolphins GET a player who performs!' with that way down 2nd rounder? Anyone? Anyone?
Nothing is postive but you have to take a risk and players picked in 2nd round are actually better values then the 1st. Or we can stay with the "PROVEN VALUE" and keep finishing 6-10.

Great news.

Tear down this wall and build a new one from scratch! Non body on this team should be safe.

Miami has so many holes, it needs all the draft picks it can get its hands on. If that means getting rid of welker and mcmichael, so be it. I also hope Miami trades down out of the 9th spot and picks up more draft picks.

Dolphins need to hold onto Welker, and McMicheal, McMicheal had a good season the year before when Dolphins qb had Ferrotte and so did Chambers had a pro bowl season with Ferotte as starting qb. Hopefully we can get this franchise back to playoff contention with either Duante Culpepper, Cleo Lemon or even look in free agency, trade for Trent Green if free agent QB Brad Johnson or Bledso isn't avalible even look for a future QB in the draft such as Brady Quinn @#9 overall pick.
Brad Johnson still has two or three good years as a starting QB same can be said snouy Drew Bledso and Trent Green if he becomes available on KC trade block.
Consider the opitions free agency at QB it would not cost the Dolphins a Draft Pick, Coach Cameron!

If Ricky Williams comes back we will have 2 1,000 yard runners and Morris is not that big of a deal
losing Morris Saben used both RBS in the same backfield, Coach Cameron please don't trade Ricky use him as Ronnie's back up or even as a starter. Dolphins losing Mcintosh was not surprising since the guy was hurt when he signed with the Dolphins.
First string QB job needs to be established by preseason or even in Dolphins Mini Camp between Daunte Culpepper and Cleo Lemon or even look @ free agency for a starting QB.
Brad Johnson has 2 or 3 good years in him as a starting QB if put in the right system.
Same as Drew Bledso has had exprecience as a starting QB in the AFC EAST.
Don't let Wes Welker sign with the Patriots we need this speedster for special teams also a back up WR and one day as a starting WR.

Welker was really good and the Patriots appreciated his effort and heart.

Put the money in the offensive line or everything else fails!
