I guess football is no longer a team sport. What happened to "Whats best for the Team". Nick is lucky he's not playing for Vince.

Are you kidding me? Nick Barnett has played more snaps on defense (>97% the last two years) than any other Packers player since he was drafted. He was thrown into a MLB position which he never played before coming to the NFL and he's flourished without much help. He's done everything that's been asked of him and has said on more than one occassion that he wants to be in GB for a long time to come. He's just worried that his numbers will go down if he moves to SSLB... which would give him less leverage with the Packers when discussing a new contract or on the FA market.

Right now, he's vastly underpaid (relative to other LBs of his caliber) because he's still working off of a rookie contract. And unlike several other players, I think has been patient and has earned the right to be worried about missing his big payday. Unlike Javon Walker, Nick has had several great years under his belt; unlike Al Harris, Nick has not yet had his chance to make "big" free-agent money. He's been the consummate professional and active in the community; give the man a break.

Daily Horoscope for December 3

Pisces

Although its just the start of December, you still need to get your skates on if you want to be ready for the forthcoming festivities. If you've barely made a dent in your preparations, relax, sit down and start writing out your list of what needs to be done. The Moon's in intuitive Cancer, so take it easy for a while and have some romantic fun. You can instruct your subconscious to take up the load, and things will look easier in the morning.
