Capt Ben, you didn't answer my question about Bowden.

do you still think Bowden is a born again christian after using foul language at halftime to describe his teams performance? What kind of christlikeness does this show children and others?
That's because he ALWAYS has been, and always will be a PHONY!!! It's always amazed me how the media just gushed over Bobby Phony and his stupid comments. I saw through that act the very first time I heard it.
However, I do NOT think it is time for Bealzabobby to go. Not yet. I think he should stick around as long as he wants and take the program to all new lows.:~D
It's just too much fun watching Bowden and the Criminoles self-destruct year after year. Funnier still though, is how their fans keep on believing Saint Bobby will somehow ressurect FSU football and bring back the glory days. Keep on dreaming Noles, that is NEVER going to happen under Bowden or Fisher.

These are the good ole days. You can't win big every year. Hang in there and down the road we'll look back at this loss and realize it helped us in the long run. Keep on fighting, Noles!

Capt. Ben- it never seizes to amaze me how many people take the time to rip the Noles. if we are so horrible and irrelevant that why do so many people come on here to talk trash? Ponder was too hyped and overthrew a few passes that resulted in picks. wake forest outplayed fsu. they were the more prepared team it seemed. he needs to beat a Div 1 team before saying anything. not sure why Dvo was in so long...he made some bad throws too. they need to calm down and play within themselves....all those picks came on passes on 25-35 yards downfield...check down or take off for a few yards. they are young...very young and were putting too much pressure on themselves to win the game. just a really bad night for the noles as wake missed on a few long passes that would have made it even worse. FSU is lucky to even be in the game late...hopefully things will improve from the QB's an offensive line.

to the haters: keep wasting your time talking to yourselves about how bad FSU is. it actually makes me laugh that you all say we are irrelevant, which means no one cares...well obviously some of you care if you take the time to read the comments and post something. and yes, bobby is not helping the program one bit. if this year is bad, he will certainly have the buzzards flying around his office....i know i will be one of them! jimbo still has time before his job is questioned. I recall jimbo not having the greatest offense at lsu...it wass good, but never great..

Bowden and Fulmer were more successful coaches when they had better assistant coaches at their side. It would be much worse for FSU if Mickey Andrews was not around. Recruiting at Tenn and FSU is still Top 25, Top 10. But they are not coaching their players to be the All-Americans they have the potential to be.

Only at FSU will this continue. It's all about the race between two "too old" coaches, Bobby versus Joe, which one will be hospitalized first? With a little better game management, FSU wins. Jimbo ordered Parker out of the game, but Parker was in on the very next series? FSU will not improve until discipline returns and emphasis of the team over the individual which is hard because the program has been all about Bobby since 2000 and you reap what you sew.

Time to give Bobby the boot. This is a new low. Three points against Wake! And I thought Wall Street was the big collapse of the week.

This is hardly newsworthy. FSU is now a middle of the road program in a mediocre conference. They played like what they are. Teams with good coaching (like Wake) get productivity out of the talent on hand. Teams like FSU take Parade All-Americans and produce 7-6 seasons.

The Seminoles are breaking my heart. And to think Wake could have been up like 24-0 if they hadn't fumbled in FSU territory. Well, I'm not sure if I should be proud of the defense, but they did a great job keeping FSU in the game. We lost against a great team.
WHAT???? a GREAT TEAM???
what are you talking about? we lost against the #18 team. a team that wasn't much better than us. Wake Forest is NOT a great team. please don't sugar coat this loss. we lost against an okay ACC team. that's it.

Don't blame me for not firing the guy> I've been sniffing his supporter for 25 years and it's difficult to break that habit.

I named Dum--I mean Jimbo the coach in waiting because I figured Bobby and/or his family would be ashamed of actually watching Fischer serve as the coach on game days while Bobby wanders aimlessly on the sidelines trying to send in Deion or Charlie. I thought he would just quit on his own so we wouldn't take the flak from the Bowden Family and the Bowden apologists around the nation. But obviously we miscalculated Bobby's selfishness and the only thing meaning anything to him now is the win record. None of us know how he or The Family can derive any satisfaction from ANY wins going forward with the realization HE IS NOT COACHING THE TEAM. Sorry for the outburst, but I'm so tired of getting all these letters telling me to can him--Well, I can't can him!! And I can't NOT can him. Someone help me. After all I'm only a 3rd string flanker who somehow became a college president.

You know what, I guess sniffing does help.

Just got an idea FSU fans. Send letters to Bobby's family telling him that Paterno is obviously in better physical shape, appears to ACTUALLY be coaching his team on game day and that he is LUCID during press conferences and TV shows. Joe doesn't look like he is going "anywhere" for couple of years, maybe Bobby can be persuaded to quit if he realizes this is an endurance test--and he ain't winning that.

Would you guys mind if we move to the Southern Conference?? We're 2-0 there this year. Just until Bobby gets the record.

joe pa doesn't coach his team anymore than bobby....he was in the pres box last game! either way they are going to coach until they are forced out...they both know that when they retire they are going to die shortly after...which neither want!

Dear FSU Fan, You may be right about Joe, but I would still take him in a game of Jeopardy. What do you think of my rise to prominence!!!Marginal receiver under Bill Peterson and I go on to become a university President. Pretty Cool!!

Jimbo Fisher should be fired. That was more of a joke than any gameplan Jeff ever put together. What ever happened to protecting young QB's with a running game??? Yes, the line is young, but abandoning the running game after 1 fumble is a joke. Absolutely embarrassing!

Hey FSU bashers get a life. We were not at full strength but will be next week. I am excited the defense played so well. Before you order a coffin for FSU try to remember that we were playing a team of seniors some 5th year. BB said there should be at least five in the NFL with the next draft. I am a FSU grad class of '63 and can remember when we didn't have a snow balls chance but we are still here and thriving. Go Noles Go McCain/Palin God Bless the USA. I hope all true Nole fans will read past the posts that come from hateful hearts....Lets support our team and continue to pray for contests without serious injury to the players. God is able if we believe.
The reason you are not at full strength is worthy of bashing in itself. Why are you not at full strength? Oh yea, because a large number of you players were too stupid and or lazy to pass an open book music test without cheating.

This game was one of the worst examples of "offensive", and I mean seriously offensive play calling by coaches and execution by players.

Coach Andrews and the Big D bailing get a grade of A, bailing the OL out of the fire a few times, but other than that, there were no bright lights in this game.

There is so much coaching experience (Fisher, Andrews, Amoto, and Bowden Sr.). But, as one of the ESPN announcers said last night, this team was worse than the team two years ago that lost against WF.

Jimbo Fisher has a good record with quarterbacks prior to arriving at FSU, but for this year and last, but I don't see anything that looks different than what Jeff Bowden had brought FSU.

Wetherford might have done a better job than Ponder or Richardson. At least his height would have prevented passes from being swatted down like flies. Why was he not given a chance?

Instead of spending money on large homages in brass scattered around the stadium to the glory days, the administration needs to take a serious look at the FSU football program.

They say a little humility is good for the soul. Well, looks like we will get plenty of humility this year until changes are made.
