Sam I believe you or your family will read these posts. I think it is the best thing, OU fans appreciate you and your passion for OU and wish you the best. Whatever team you get on I will become an instant fan of, just like now I am a Vikings Fan thanks to A.D. Thanks for representing OU with class and maturity. I will pray for a speedy and pain free recovery for you. PS...could you make a side deal with Dallas and get on there? Hey, I had to try!

have surgery, get well, get ready for spring practice, stay in school, work out next summer - get bigger, stronger, and healed - return to OU in the fall - win a second Heisman in 2010 - there will be no question that you will be ready for the Pros....and you will be great....FINISH....

Sam, I must start by saying the I've NEVER been in favor of ANY player leaving early for the NFL or any other pro sport. Getting an education should be the #1 priority. But having said that, I'm hoping you'll follow Emmitt Smith's example. He left after his Jr. year, but before doing so, made and eventually kept a promise to his mother... he FINISHED his education. Can you guarantee you won't sustain a career-ending injury in the NFL? Of course not. And I hope it doesn't happen, but if it does, what then? Finish your education so you'll have that safety-net. Good Luck, Sam!

Screw OU!!! Do some reporting on our Oklahoma team that is actually doing something this year! Its no wonder why OSU fans hate OU so much, because no matter how bad OU is doing, they still get ALL the attention. OSU is now up to #14 and OU isnt even in the top 25. I know you @zzholes are devistated and all but let it friggin go! OU is really overrated!

Thank you OMG for your commentary. But if you don't want to hear about OU, I suggest you stop reading the Norman paper.

Sam, thank you for your hard work and dedication this season and seasons past. Best of luck to you!

While money is a necessity, thanks for understanding that there are so very many things that dwarf it in importance.Happiness has nothing to do with wealth! You have been and are being an example to our youth everywhere, and 99.999% of those will never achieve wealth or fame.I thank God that their success in life does not have to be tied to that phony facade!

Hey OMG! OMG!!!!! The reason you and all others like you hate OU is because we are always, including this year, better than your team. It is your fear of the Sooners that makes you hate.
I believe that we have only seen a glimpse of what Sam will accomplish as a QB. Just like AD, Sam will now be able to shine in the NFL.
I cant wait to see it.
Good luck Sam.

As an OSU fan im always sorry to see another teams star player miss a season with a major injury. Sam is a quality class act kid. I hope his surgery and recovery go well and that he has a dominant NFL career.

As an avid OU fan, I am heartbroken for you, but as a christian, I do know God has bigger plans for you in the NFL! I pray God speed on your recovery and that you will be back in action again in less than the expected recovery time! You are such a great football player and I have great respect for you as many of your fans do! I will be following your success story in the ranks of the greats!

almost everyone has been concerned with the amount of money sam may lose due to his injury. i do not watch alot of pro football but there is nothing i would like more that to be able to watch him on sunday afternoon. but if you take football out of the equation for sam bradford he is going to do fine. that is the kind of person he is. i wish him all of the luck in his football career but also after his long football career is over.

We have enjoyed watching you play for OU and will miss you, but it is your time to do what you need to do to get well and look to the future. You will be very successful. We love you!

mr bradford should do whatever works out best for him and to further risk a promising carrer in the NFL wouldn't seem to be in his best interest
