first i would like to list all the back up that have been through here in the last decade, BUT there are just to many!!!
Irland may not have done some things we needed him to do but al least we didn't spend money on a never been qb
i also worry about the lack of weapons on ofence but i do think the most important thing a rookie qb needs is a good o-line and they stay healthy we should be ok or better than ok!!

You're correct Mark a rookie qb needs that comfort zone or feeling that his o-line is bad azz this enables him to perform at a level that will build confidence in himself. That's hard to do while laying on your back side or running for you life so to speak. But look at my Cowboys for a minute; our o-line sucks again and a qb of the caliber of Tony Romo being a veteran goes thru those same issues. He cannot be a pro bowler without a bad azz o-line, even though he has proven this statement wrong before. Bottom line, comfort in the pocket equates to success, rookie or veteran. Not to mention the rb's need to be confident that when their # is called, he wants to KNOW the o-line is gonna make a hole for him to get past the linebackers, then it's all on the rb and down field blocking. Good luck this year Mark.
