For being such a draft wizard the only notable 1st pick is Hawk 3. Drafting Harrell 4. Firing Sherman he was a proven winner with only 1 losing season.

i agree championship teams are built through the draft, but Ted hasn't hit on a huge amount of picks like a championship team has hit on.

its very hard to hit on a bunch of picks your first few years not many gms are that successful right off the bat, but were only a couple of players away from being a championship team, we got our QB, now lets build around him the way most teams do with a franchise QB, OUR 0-LINE needs attention also, because that is where it starts, 0-line and d-line and those can be quick fixes with some depth through the draft to rotate in and out, i believe the giants used that philosophy and they discovered some talented guys who filled in for injured players on that D.

championship teams start at both lines, and the way the dline was giving up yards,it needs to be addresses,of course a new d and new coaches and a d coordinator who wont call the same 3 defensive plays will help alot but theres work to be done!

The Packers will not build around Rodgers as long as TT is in GB. And you are right that it is not easy to hit on a bunch of picks in the first few years. If it was every GM would be winning championships. When a GM cannot do it in 4 years it just isn't going to happen. The Lions thought that Matt Millen would eventually get it together. They were wrong and now few people want to coach or play in Detroit. The way that FAs avoid GB indicates that TT has done the same thing to GB in half the time.
