The only hope Green Bay has for winning the game are the intangibles of a divisional rivalry; pride, emotion, revenge (Favre). The Vikings are far more talented. I've watched both teams and the Packers are an average team. The Vikings might be one of the leagues elite teams. That depends on whether or not our offensive line can pass block. We can go into Monday night knowing both offensive lines suck but in every other position the Vikings are superior. The only question the Packers should be asking themselves is, can we improve on 6-10.

The frustration over Mike Lynn's Herschel Walker trade, The Great Train Robbery, is eclipsed by Childress' acquisition of Favre. We have something over the Packers that no other team has done to their rival. It can't taste any sweeter. Of course the clueless purple water heads that rant every day about how Childress sucks. Only the Lime in The Coconut, SB, remains. Bring on the purple serial killers. lol

Wishing doesn't make it so. Unless you are stupid, you know that the Packers are superior at multiple positions. You should also know that the Vikings have yet to look like an elite team. You would know that if you watch any other games. And the only question that both teams should be asking themselves is whether they can improve on their current record.

The Packers don't need hope. All they need is a chance. They ARE going to get that chance on Monday.

Obviously they will focus on AP, just like every other team does, BF is not a threat. The GB secondary is an elite pass defending core. The picks alone tell that story.

GB has a better secondary, better wide receivers, a better QB, better TE's, better FB, just as good a kicker, so the Vikings are not superior to the Packers. Your D-line is bit better than GB, and your running back, and LB's, that is it. BF is not what he used to be, that is why AR is better. Atleast we have a QB that we can build around for the next ten or so years, you have nothing but L.A. on your mind.

I can agree that you have a better covering secondary. You don't have anyone that hits as hard as Winfield. Recievers yes, but you should factor in Harvin as a multidimensional player. QB I would say is a push at this point. Currently ranked number 7 and 8 I believe in the league respectively. The intangible there is the comeback victories. Favre proved last week that he still has that ability. Rodgers has yet to prove he can get it done as proven by the many close losses last year. TE Shank is a great player that has yet to be fully utilized this year. Longwell is clutch. Those two you can debate. We are each fans of our own teams players. Our D-line is head and shoulders above the Packs. We were the top run D for the last 3 years, which is directly attributed to them. How many Pro-bowlers did you have from your d-line last year? Enough said. Our LB are a better unit. Hawk is a good player I will give you that, but you need more than him. Our RBs with Peterson and Taylor I don't even need to bring up. After many Packer fans being worried that Rodgers would even start a full season last year, due to durability issues, how confident are you that he will be around that long? Just curious, as most of my Packer friends are worried he will last his contract.

I've watched both teams coming into this game and held my tongue until this game. The Packers are average and nothing more. Capers 3/4 is hype and your offensive line is worse than the Vikings.

In the Cleveland and Detroit games, the Vikings sleep, wake up and do anything they want. The 49ers, a real good team, almost beat us but the Vikes did a better job of staying in the game for 60 minutes. I think our sleeper problem is lack of talent on the o-line and a lack of time working with Favre.

And so the Packers will attempt to improve on 6-10 while the Vikings try to improve on 10-6. If you try hard enough, you might be able to wish yourself purple.

GBPfan,

Your defense is not on a level with the 49ers who match up real well against our running game. We're gonna run it down your throat for 60 minutes. That is not good news for a one dimensional passing offense like the Packers.

You and I both know we're gonna find out if Rodgers can handle pressure like Favre.

Have fun until game time because everything Packer is gonna su-ck Monday night. Only one thing could make than signing Favre even better and that's winning a super bowl with him as the QB. Your misery is my pleasure; Schadenfreude!

Ted Thompson has created a culture of losing in Green Bay. In spite of Ted and his failures, the Packers did make the playoffs one time under his mismanagement. Since the damage has already been done and it doesn't appear that he will be replaced before the end of the season, all we can do is hope for the best. If his best is six wins again, I believe TT and his culture of losing will be escorted from Green Bay. One way or another, the season will end better than most since he arrived as GM in Green Bay.

I am confident AR will be around, we are 60 million under the cap and the line can be fixed, not this year, but I think we can get a probowl lineman next year. Winfield is a good tackler just like Harris and Woodson are. Our 3-4 D is a transition, Jenkins is well on his way, and Kampman is a probowler. I would argu Desmond Bishop and Brandon Chillar are playing better than Hawk, even the rookie Matthews has looked better. Harvin is a threat, but not proven. As for AR? Did you not see the Bears game?
