The road is over for the Big Blue..thanks for beating the Cowboys but the momentum will hit a 0 degree wall at Lambeau on Sunday. That stretch of Phili, Jets, Falcons, 49ers, and Miami really inflated the stats of this team and made them look statistically better than they are, but look at that schedule!! Great job beating the Cowgirls but it's time for Favre to cement his place in history.

Welcome to the winter wonderland of Green Bay and Wisconsin in general. Your thoughts on how to beat the Packers was quite good. However, execution is critical. If the Giants cannot execute, the Packers will cut them to pieces. Other teams have tried similar schemes and the outcome for them was not good.

Sunday will tell.

P.S. Thanks for Grant

Listen. The forecast changes daily naturally so what's in the forecast today won't be for tomorrow but the wind is the key. Any wind less than 15 miles an hour and right now the forecast is for 4mph winds which means dealing with the cold will be easier. This game is pretty much a pick-um in my book. I hope the Giants get the best of it. If not this season has been a success wither way. Go Giants.

I hope Strahan isn't expecting Farve to tell him he's rolling out to his side and taking a dive each play. That could end up being a long day for the Giants. I see Bradshaw having a huge day and the Giants D line winning the battle up front. A slip here and there on that hard surface could be problems for the O line dealing with the speed on the ends. 34-31 Giants.

The game is played on the field and the Giants will win. I don't care about the weather or GB. Bring the NFC championship back to NY. This game will be for all Giants fans "You gotta Believe".

Godda say, I love my Giants. But theres no way they are going to win this week. The Giants are a gift for the Packers this week making it an easy ride to the Superbowl.

Okay,... so the Giants only have to stop the run, stop the pass, get to Favre, score early and often, and they might win. Geez, you guys should be coaching.

Sounds good. How bout switching to a 3-4. Have an extra linebacker to clog the lanes in passing situations, more speed to control Grant getting to the outside. Wilkinson did great against the Pats, especially going one on one against Moss several times. He was fast and showed great instincts crashing the line and had some great tackles in the backfield. I've always liked Chase Blackburn as well, impressed with his play from two years ago, I thought he was solid, hard hitting and had decent instincts. He plays with a lot of heart. The only problem is the Giants are thin at linebacker. If they get tired, their reserves won't be as effective as the d-line reserves.

Not sure about the 3-4 but I like Wilkinson & Blackburn too. Mitchell started slow last wek but then came on strong. Pierce is the weak link now. The same game plan we used on Tampa after the 1st quarter should work again. Short passes to open up the running game. Long drives to control the clock and keep Favre & Co on the sidelines. And no turnovers. Must get pressure and make Brett chuck it up. These back up CBs won't be able to stay with the receivers all day. And when he does the DB must hold on to any INTs. Hope for a windy day like they had in Chicago and some blocked punts.

Agree with you about Pierce. watching him this season makes me believe what people say about the Giants being a "dirty" team. He has had numerous unnecessary roughness penalties this season and blatant cheap shots at other players where I sit back and shake my head thinking," What the hell is he thinking?" He is undisciplined and his on field performance this year has been unimpressive.

The first possession is going to determine the rest of the game for the Giants. If the Giants can move the ball and get it to at least midfield, they are in good shape. If the drive stalls at that point, punt and put the Packers in a deep hole near their endzone. Then attack. Make no mistake, this will have to be played like a chess match. It will all come down to field position, a low scoring affair.

I also agree that we need to keep the ball on offense as long as possible and let the Packer offense sit on the sideline freezing their cheese off. Everything I've heard about teams playing in extreme cold sems to point out that on the field you don't feel the cold because you are focused on the game. You get the coldest on the sideline and that is where this game could be won. Who can maintain their sanity on the sideline more.

Pressuring Favre is easier said than done. If the Giants are to be successful, they must pressure early and often before Favre takes that option from them in the form of ball control.

The answer is easy the beast way to beat the packers is to score more than them. LOL.
Two keys pressure Farve, you saw what knocking him to the Texas Stadium turf did for him, he quit. The giants D need to establish the pressure early, key on the run, contain Grant, and be ready to pounce on Farve when he drops back, the giants are capable of doing this so long as the field conditions allows for their front four to get good footing so they can push through the O-line and on to Farve. If they can do that, than it is all up to Eli abd company.

If the Giants score more points then the Packers then they will win. If the Packers score more points then the Giants then they will win. My prediction is the team with the most points at the end of the game will win.

The only way for the Giants to win this game is if they can somehow slip an extra defensive back into the game without getting penalized with 12 men on the field,Dallas beat the Pack when the Pack were short two starters who would have made a difference and Brett suddenly getting away from what was working by throwing long all of a sudden,Chicago whipped them when the wind was blowing at 35 mph and eliminating the passing game.the Giants have played some patsies to make their record and NY fans know that, they played great against Dallas, but to repeat that performance again,I think not,Packers 37 NY 13
