Interesting insights Dave.

It's going to be interesting this weekend. I like Moniz's demeanor in the pocket as he moves quite well to buy his receivers extra time. But it could have been against 2nd & 3rd stringers but we'll see in a few days.

Pat Hill is great for the WAC but UH has his number in recent years.

I wish the Wahine VB Team continues to improve every year. Maybe Dave turned another corner and is beginning to recruit better. Time will tell.

This is good journalism. While I'm not a coach, the adavantage Hawaii has is that there isn't much film on Moniz, meaning they can try any play they like. Hawaii can win if Fresno is not prepared.

Fresno will win. This game is the first game UH will play against a decent team. Fresno is unranked but they are better than the Arkansas tech JC that mack played earlier. Mack needs to beat good teams on the road...something June Jones could not do. Playing a padded, weak schedule gets the UH no recognition and no legitimate bowl game.

Do you all remember how Hawaii defeated FSU in Fresno last year? It was the turn over. Hawaii's ONLY chance to win against FSU this Saturday is to win the turn over battle, like 5-1. As a kid who watched Dick Tomey's 'boring' teams in the early 80s, I still remember what Tomey used to say to win football games: 1) don't turn the ball over, 2) kick ball well, and 3) play good defense. It wasn't sexy, but those 'boring' teams from the 80's played solid games most of the time. Let's see how Mack's team will play on Saturday. I'm not expecting much from the offense, and that's being fair.

UH better strap on the chin straps tight on D this week. Last week vs. LT was embarrassing and Fresno has one of the best rushing offenses in the nation. Mathews got 234 yards rushing on Boise. Hope for the best and hoping playing in front of the home crowd will help!
