The Patriots, and more specifically Bill Belichick, might fancy themselves as some sort of image and career rehabilitation unit--Randy Moss, Corey Dillon, and more recently Ryan Mallett--but I just don't see it happening in the case of their newest client: Albert Haynesworth.

I don't think you've got a very good understanding at all on the patriots.(I have no team, I just love watching football) the 3-4 used by the patriots is really more in name only. They do many different things & he will not play in it where the redskins wanted him to. Believe it or not what belichick is best at is get'n the most out of any player. Belichick will get 2 very good years from him & he wants to go there, before any of this go back a few years & he said he really liked that patriots & what they do. People always do better when doing what they like doing & in a place they wanna be doing it at.
Ryan mallet is not there to replace brady for years if ever but to be developed because of what they think he can do, he doesn't have what he needs yet for pro ball. Drop the throwing ability, that's not what's most important in the NFL its many other factors & you won't see fans calling for brady to go to the bench & mallet come in. That's more of an attempt at being inflamitory to worried fans & to provoke fans. Do you really study football much or just like to write things about it & see what sticks?
I mean this in no way to sound mean so please don't take it that way it just sound like a fan breaking down football & not someone who looks objectively at it & thinks 40 times at the combine matter more than ball awareness & closing speed when it comes to a cornerback.
Your best QBs in this game are great because of brains, work ethic & planning.

Albert Haynesworth won't produce as much as a popcorn fart for the Patsies.
