The new overtime rules are insane. No more sudden death i guess. I liked the idea of teams starting at the 20 with no kickoff but this is just stupid.

And it wont help the Vikes reach the Super Bowl

Good article Bob. I Have to agree with you about the next out come of the Viking's , Saint's game. Kind of like playing dealers choice poker. If deuces are wild you never get a deuce. The next dealer calls 3's and 9's wild, you get deuces etc.. Kind of like a story I read. Minnesota gets the coldest winter ever recorded in the entire world, Hell freezes over and the Vikings win the super bowl. If I remember, one of my Minnesota friends sent me this some time ago.

You call your self a fan Mr. Sansevere? Its no secret that our team has been on the outside looking in but we as the fans can't lose face and count our team out just because thats the way its been for 50 years. I saw one hell of a season last year that ended on a sour note. But dont you think that every single one of our players wakes up everyday and yearns to get back on that field. 99 time out of 100 we win that game and if it comes down to it again with the rule change it wont matter because this is a different team, its an older team, and its poised for something special. As fans these are the teams that we hope for. With all due respect i hope that this article was purely out of frustration and not about the vikings past. I enjoy reading your articles but i must say we as vikings fans must stick together.

The Saints are going to chock and not even make the play offs. Brees hurt team over! I just think both teams should get a chance to score the same amount of points as the other. If a team scores a field goal then the other team gets a chance at going down the field and scoring a field goal or better. The kick offs and punts are apart of the game too. Just like QBs and Wide receivers getting hit. If they do not want to get hit, then they will not step and pass every down and will take a sack quicker. The receiver will not be going up for the ball as much. The running backs will be worth more again! I hate this stopping in mid air and not hitting a person. If the qbs are willing to stand there then let the guys hit them. They just need to change how they play! Instead of the guys changing the whole purpose of playing!Hitting and tackling!

The Saints are going to chock
