"The Vikings will be hard-pressed to get back to the division championships game, if for no other reason than Favre is a year older and unlikely to repeat his miraculous performance of 2009. "

Gee Powers finally woke up ,,, By the way the early line out of vegas has the Vikings at 11-1 to win it all ..(Oh and the Packers are 10-1).. Should be a fun season

Well, Jim old buddy, see you are up late tonight, lets see if we can keep the train on the track this time around....You are correct on the statement this year will be fun, fun, till her daddy tool her T-Bird away...Both the Vikings, and the Packers will field excellent teams and the games between the two, should be cliff hangers....10-1? who is the (1)?

The queens would have been playing next week if it wasnt for bert. Just like the Packers would have played the next week against the Giants @ Eagles. ja can thank his idiodic qb bert for that. But to be fare to bert......ja is just as dumb as bert. Chester was the only one in that backfield with talent, and brains. Da Bears scored...bigtime. I wish the Pack had him. But we dont, so we'll deal with it.

Rodgers looked pretty stupid when he was trying to crawl out of the end zone.Same as Grant when he got flipped.

The Vikings know that too. From my understanding they had 2 plays they were considering. They changed the play and 1 of the players didnt hear the change due to the crowd noise and went in.

We simply were not good enough in New Orleans on that day. We move on. The Saints are next up. One play at a time, keep striving to improve. Eventually this franchise will get it done, but I think it needs to be this season for the rest of the pieces of the puzzle to fall in place here in MN.

Every one of these 'what if' games, going back to Drew Pearson, get etched into the psyche of all Viking fans. Even though the chances of having these games have been spread out by a decade or two, they don't go away.

I'll tell you what, you are 100% correct on that one. It is subliminal, I found myself expecting the Vikes to lose that game against N.O. LAST season due to the fact it has happened so much IN THE PAST, I have just come to expect it-BUT THAT ENDS THIS SEASON.

Take a breath bro', that was one long sentence, your moniker should be "give me another snort" not "give me a break."

You think Childress will remember this year you can only have 11 men in a huddle?

Be glad this is the NFL, and not college or high school football. Because when you're a senior and lose a key game, there's no "next year." The Vikings are bringing back an experienced roster, and filling gaps with quality rookies and free agents. This team is loaded with talent, and has a chip on its shoulder. 2010 is Unfinished Business.
