A Vikings team that started the season with high hopes now faces much uncertainty

Things for the Vikings to do:
Pick a head coach. If it's going to be Frazier then make the decision quickly.
Re-sign Greenway and Rice. Try to keep Edwards, and if we're not going to keep Pat Williams, then we need to figure out if Guion or Kennedy can take his place as a two-gap run-stuffer.
The three biggest needs for this team are at QB, Offensive Line and safety.
While I like Webb, the team should not just hand him the starting job. Childress did that with Tjack, and we all saw how that turned out. Everyone but Childress knew it was a mistake, and it would be a mistake to do it again. The real decision is, do you draft a guy with your first pick (assuming one is available) or do you bring in a veteran who can start?
This defense cannot, under any circumstances, go into next year with their current group of safeties on the roster. These guys are never around the ball, and they are often seen taking the wrong angles on coverage. We need ballhawks back there who can cover and force turnovers. These guys have got to go
The offensive line was as bad as I've seen it in a long time. Is McKinnie worth keeping around anymore? I'd almost like to see him traded for someone who at least plays with some enthusiasm. How good is Hutchinson anymore, after all these years? Can we do better than Sullivan at center? Are any of the young guys going to be able to step up and become quality starters?
Finally our special teams coverage units either need new coaching or new players. Too many big returns were given up this year.

Memo to Pat Wiliams:
The Vikings have sqandered every opportunity for "a ring".
Every. Single. One.
You should take this under serious consideration when contemplating your future.
The Vikings always have been, and always will be, bedwetters.
Next year will be no different. Anyone who thinks otherwise ignores fifty years of Viking history.

Big disappointment for Viking fans this season.
Vikings have only their performances on the
field to blame for this season fiasco. They
didn't like their coach #1 reason so they stunk
it up on the field. Poor reason. I am so
disgusted at the outcome of this season. Look
at what happened to Favre! Yes he threw ints
but being nearly crippled in the pocket because
of his lousy offensive line didn't help him either. He wouldn't blame it on anyone but I
will. His O-line was a disgrace to the game!
Berrian has to go. How do these players think
they will be picked up by any team after the way they played this season. If they couldn't do it
for the Vikings then I wouldn't want any of them
on my team. Too late after Frazier was named
coach. They all missed the boat! I say they
should go down with the ship! Losers!!!
