Sorry I didn't answer the question the way you wanted so here goes.
I would not want Favre back if Rogers played poorly and yes I still would be angry at Favre. It is not how the game is played it is the mentality of the Player. The reason I wouldn't want him back is because he wanted to go to the Vikings. It was the talk and that is why he was traded to the Jets. TT and MM knew he didn't want to stay in Green Bay but TT and MM didn't want him to play for a Divisional team and that is what TT said when he made the announcement that Favre was traded. He was traded and had 2 years left on his contract but at the end of his first year he retired again and that is when the Jets let him out of the last year of his contract. He was free to retire OR what ever. He didn't immediately talk about unretiring because of his shoulder. Talk on the viking boards was that Favre would be a good fit for the Vikings. Then the Packer fans knew what his retirement was all about. If the Packers had let him go because of poor play or some underline reason then I doubt if there would be such a hullabaloo when he decided to go to the Vikings. I honestly doubt if the Fans were booing Favre because of his poor play but they did it because he was a Viking. I think it is tough for a team if your exquarterback was playing opposite you and especially someone in the same division.
The grass is never greener on the other side of the fence.
But when Favre initially announced that he wanted to come back, he wanted to come back to the Pack and they told him they were already going with Rodgers and that he'd have to compete for the starting job. Once he heard this, it was then that he wanted to leave and since Minny ran the same system and needed a qb, that was the best fit for him to win. Yeah maybe a little bit was to stick to Thompson, but it was because he was told he had to compete for the starting spot, despite leading them to a 13-3 record the year before, which is anyone's book is absurd.

<quoted text>I'm not bitter, anymore, just telling it like it is. As far as your ?, I would take Aaron even if the Packers go 5-10?......hey queenboy, there's 16 games in a season. So if they go 5-11, I would still take Aaron!.......With him we have a future!........Cant blame you for wanting the cheating diva!.......The queens have no future....Ps, your guess was wrong, I answered yours?......Now answer mine,.......If bert came out and was completely horrible and your team went say 5-11 becouse of him, would you rather have a young talented QB like Aaron, or would you wish bert was still there?.........I'm waiting!.......
So you would rather have a young qb and stick in mediocrity than have a veteran qb that just led your team to the NFC Championship game the year before and you are bringing back the same team with him at qb? I understand your future idea, but also allowing Rodgers another year behind Favre and possibly getting superbowl experience would have been huge. Now Rodgers has played well so the move wasn't so bad after a couple years. Now as for your question, I would want the qb that would provide my team with the best opportunity to win. Do we have a young talented qb on our team right now? No we do not, TJack is horrible. But now we may with Webb, but he is not ready just yet. One thing that has annoyed me about my team is the fact that they have not invested anything at the qb spot once favre leaves. But with the way our team is built now, having a qb like Favre is the best thing to have now because we will be doing a big overhaul in the next year or two, so now is the time for my team.

Won't be too long before you get the coveted banner. The highly sought after 0for50 banner. Not many teams have attained such futility. Hang it with pride at the MOA field. Fans will come to admire that banner at the Moldy Old Arena, for years to come. Or at least till they get the 0for100 banner. That will be the real feat.
I hope they win one so I can quit getting referred to when you can't bat .200

2004, funny you should mention that.
Not only lost the only meeting between the two teams in the playoffs, but embarrassed as the home team favorite.
Just another blast from the past convincing typical fence sitting fans of Minnesota's superiority over the meandering, festering, sore smack dab in dead horse bay.
Regulators.......... mount up!

You have a 50 year drought which includes 4 SUPERBOWL LOSSES.
I have NEVER cheered for the Vikings and never will. Now you are telling ME what I can say or do? It's time to move to the future the past is OLD. There are many things about the Vikings but one is I am not obsessed with the Vikings like you are for the Packers. Everything you post is Packers, Packers, Packers. You need an intervention. Move on, you now have Brett Favre to worship.
Get this he no doubt he will be boo'd this time also but remember it is football not church. They can do what they want.. Tell me how good were the 70's and 80's since you know so much. Evidently you are a closet Packer fan so come out and admit it. Do you eat, drink, and sleep Packers?
I warm up by tossing you pucker fans around like rag dolls, why are you here?
It's a little game I play with zipper heads such as yourself. Packer fans troll our topix board 24/7, shrieking like the little gurls they are, so smack, I bring them back to reality.
One poor pucker fan at a time.
McMuffin does a fine blow fish imitation, bet you have ShAaron on his back down pat.

This team has one of the worst offensive lines in the NFL. The record of the teams the Vikings have beat 2-8.

If it wasn't for the Packer Fans your board would be dead and you know it. You got what you wanted (Favre) and now you are throwing him to the wind. Ungrateful slobs

There is a smidgeon of truth to this, but just like the grass was greener for Brett, we enjoy the obtuse, circular posts offered up by pucker fans. It's like watching a newborn girrafe try to run.
Just makes all us Viking fans glad we aren't part and parcel to that disfunctional family called pucker nation.

We got what you discarded, told him to 'compete' for the starting job, lol.
Who's throwing him to the wind?
Gb did, we are bringing him back to his first love.
He enjoys Minnesota, sconnie, not so much.
