Best five minutes of effort and hustle by the Vikes all season.

They had better keep it up, and I still hope for Chillys firing soon.

What if they make the playoffs and go to the Superbowl? What if?

Could it happen?........anyways I just checked my Powerball lotto numbers and I did not get a single number right.......again!

Childress should go because he is a poor coach. The number one evidence is his inability to come up with a short yardage play. He has at his command a premier running back who has amazing strengh and speed, several excellant lineman, an old tight end who is one of the great blockers in football, a new big strong kid in the backfield built to take on anybody,a quarterback who could execute a fake to the back and a little lob perfect as close to 100% of the time as you can get, AND HE CAN'T COME UP WITH A PLAY TO MAKE A HALF A YARD!!!

Nothing changes ........ Klink is still and idiot and had no hand in the team pulling out a win......... He still needs to be fired.

Take a 3-5 team to OT to pull out a win (against one of the worst pass defenses in the league). Vikings should have demolished this team - if they want to be taken seriously. All it proves is that the Vikes belong in the bottom 3rd of the league.

You know what my worst nightmare is? The Vikes manage to turn this season around to finish 9-7 and make the playoffs win a wildcard game, but then lose in the divisional round... Wilf thinks the worst is behind him, and keeps Klink, with the comment that this team "matured and rallied after a great deal of adversity. And I don't have to eat the balance of his contract yet!"

Coming back from a 14 point deficit with 3:30 left in a game against any NFL team is impressive. However I do think it proves the point that Klink sucks. I may be wrong but I have to believe that Favre et al. took control (as there really was no time for Klink's interference) and won that game. I have to admit that it would be detrimental to fire Klink this week after a comeback victory like yesterday's. Having said that I take solace in believing in my purple heart that regardless of yesterday's outcome his future with this team is going to be short.

didn't this happen too in klink's 3rd or 4th year? i swear it did.. his crappy 'coaching' was exposed and i remember people were starting to pull their heads out that klink was a joke.. i remember getting upset because then they won a few games, just enough for zygi to extend that moron.. oh, i was so pissed. klink's gotta go !!!!

great to see the national media call him out - most of the peeps at espn finally get it. i've wanted to know where this has been.

percy harvin: you are THE man.. i wish you had punched that sorry coach right out.. tough, tough kid, that percy harvin.

I think the Vikings and Bears are pretenders this year. Yes, we defeated the Cardinals, but once again, this defense gave the Cardinals 24 points, and while the sack masters finally showed up, the back half of this defense has issues. AP is a stud, and should be on the field on every 3rd down play.

Its Over,
The defense gave up 10 points. 7 points on a kick return gave up by the special teams and another 7 on the Harvin strip/fumble.

The Vikings will not make the playoff's for several reasons. 1) They will not win all of their playoff games. At best they will go 5-3, most probably 4-4 or 3-5. 2) No North division team will be wildcard eligible. Too many teams from other divisions with better records. 3) THEY SUCK. They have not beat a team with a winning record. They will split with Chicago, beat the Bills, lose to the Packers, Eagles and Washington. They might even lose to Detroit. These guys suck because they don't want to play for their coach. No other reason.

Think about it. If Arizona does the prudent thing and takes the safety instead of punting from their own end zone late in the game. The Vikes don't get the cushy short field, the Card's are still up by 12 meaning the Vike's STILL need to score 2 TD's. How much longer does it take to score, if they score at all, from 40-50 yards further out? With the Vike's tying it up with 27 seconds left...well, you do the math. Face it, it might just be that Arizona coaching saved Klink's job more than the Vikings themselves.

I agree that comeback was very impressive even if it was against the crap ass Cards.

I think people should be more concerned with what happened in the 56 min before that. Down 14 to the Cards at home with 4 min to play. That is not exactly a spot a good team would find themselves in is it?

The Vikes have a shot still. The next 2 weeks should probably tell the story for them.@Bears then vs.GB. If they win those they are looking pretty good. If they can notů well then they are in big big trouble.
