Interesting article, I hope that Marcus Monk gets into the mix at receiver. I also expect Olsen to get on the field more this season as well. Otherwise a fairly well written article and observation!

Very generous review on Grossman. Starter for 4 years with a lifetime QB rating of 70 does shows he's either sleeping with Owners daughter or his true calling is politics.

Seriously, do you have ANY relevant football knowledge? You're by far the most moronic and annoying poster on here.

Your stand up comedy and 5th grade insults are pitiful. I think I speak for everyone here when I say SHUT THE HELL UP.

My, my. Must have touched a nerve or two eh?
You love my comedy deep down inside, otherwise you would not seek to find it.
Your the first person in the MINORITY to say you speak for the MAJORITY. Just because you go on and on with pointless blither and try to overcome people with shear mass of words does not mean you say one thing of consequence.
Your (arguments?), try to evade statistics completely, and you refuse to recognize those that have performed well.
Example: If another QB does well, it must mean he has boatloads of talent around him.
If Rex plays poorly, it must mean that the other 10 guys are absolute chumps.
Your logic has a stench like nothing I've ever seen.
I won't shut up, I will not allow the truth to be denied.

The truth? Your schoolyard puns and idiocies are far from anything I'd call truth.

And you want to argue over whether or not a QB can succeed with out a good offense around him?

Name one. Please, just name one QB that performs well today that doesn't have a myriad of talent around him.

Manning has Addai, Wyane, Harrison, and more.

Brady has Maroney, Moss, Welker, Crayton, etc.

Who do the Bears have? A receiving corps. we felt comfortable trading and releasing away? An offensive line that has shifted completely and has two new starters? A rookie running back due to the fact that our previous one was horrible and getting arrested every other day?

Tell me, Jopa-n, UNLEASH YOUR TRUTH and let us all know what talent Grossman or Orton has or had to work with here.

And show me a QB, a GREAT QB, that has succeeded without the big names around them.6231

Up until last year Brady didn't have too many big names around him.
Seriously is there a player from any of the Patriots SB winning teams that went to another team and succeeded? Of course that could be because they didn't have the same quality of film to study at their new team ;) but Brady had to be doing something right.

I hope you're joking. Do you remember Stalworth? Or Caldwell? Faulk? Gaffney? Those are just a few names who have been around the Pats for a while.

Brady may have not had Moss before 2007, but he still had DAMN good receivers and an offensive line that is and has always been one of the best in the league!

Their not a dynasty because they had no-name inexperienced players.

And do not confuse what I'm saying. Brady is a great QB, no doubt. But look at what happened to him in 2005 and 2006 when injuries and inexperienced players plagued the Pats. Brady's stats dropped and all the sudden, the Pats weren't even in the playoffs or were losing playoff games which is uncharacteristic of them. Brady is great, but he needs talent around him to be successful. No QB can do it on his own. That's just common sense.

They don't put 52 guys on a roster if all you need is one to get the job done.
