One of the best! The Bucs have shown alot of class this past season, staying with Simms and now keeping Alstott with the team. Too bad other teams dont show loyalty to players that give them their all. Gruden&The Bucs get 2 thumbs up this year for the team with the most heart. They dealt with multiple injuries, but they kept showing up.

To everything there is a life and in football. It's sad to his season of a life in football end but he was a pleasure to watch and root for. He will be missed! Thanks Mike for being someone worthy of our cheers and admiration!!

Roll on A-Train! Thanks for the numerous great memories! I was there for the Redskins game he won for the Bucs with the two point conversion at the end. A memory forever. To echo Joe, God Speed Mike.

You will be missed Mike. The manner in which you played the game should serve as a message and clear signal to all of the Bucs players. You didn't whine about anything. You just went out and played your best everytime you were on the field. I hope that football fans all over this country will appreciate what you mean to the city of Tampa and the NFL.

One of the best but now a legend. I remember it would take four or more guys to take him down. I will miss the train whistle they would use a Ray Jay everytime he plow through the opposing team. We will see on sidelines working with team next season. Will be a good defensive coach one day.#40 forever remembered!

Bucanneers don't walk the plank they just commadere another ship!!

I am going to take this opportunity to be selfish and say that i don't want him to leave! however, i do understand. in a day and age (& league) of punk thugs, Mike was a class act! he was one the top 5 toughest players in the last 10-15 years and for that i am greatful, because he showed us weekly what it meant to be a "tough" player. Mike, i will miss your bruising runs/blocks/hits, your style, but most of all your heart and integrity. from a BIG dallas cowboy fan, THANK YOU!

Mike is the only reason I am/was a Bucs fan. Now I need to look for another John
Riggins-type player to root for.(any suggestions?)
