Charles Johnson...what is it with these reports lately? Can't anyone do even MINIMAL research and get the names correct??? These people get paid for this kind of report? I am sure that some of the people out there looking for jobs can at least spell. Fire this guy and replace him with someone who needs a job and will give a little bit of effort!!!

Poor Curry! Getting signed late in your career with the Lions is the equivelant of a once highly paid award winning actor now doing infomercials. Sad!

No sure why people are dinging SMO. He has a point as Charles Johnson? I'm pretty sure they meant Calvin Johnson. Oh well. It is good that Curry got to hook up with another team but going leaving the Raiders usually would be an upgrade (at least in the last few years) but to Detroit. Ugh!

Hope he doesn't get hurt. He's getting old for that kind of abuse.

Don't bet on it. It's going to take a heck of a lot more than Curry (who was never too special even in his prime in the NFL), and the number one pick to turn around an "0-fer" season. The Lions stunk last year and smart money says it isn't going to be much different this year!

Ron Curry is a class act and I wish him well. Too bad people in Newport News can't appreciate what a fine role model he is

He's always been a nice guy. Problem is he was an outstanding highschool talent. Slightly above average college talent, and as it turns out, a well below average professional talent. Hince a one year deal with the Lions. No body ever said he wasn't a nice guy. I thought this was about football not a character evaluation.

Are you Mel Kiper Jr? You bash him and refer to him as washed up but funny thing is he'll make more money in one year than you will in your whole life. Average College Talent? Excuse me, did you get a DI full ride and Play football for a top 25 team and start at Basketball for the UNC Tarheels? Unless you're Allen Iverson I suggest you go back to your hole and update your fantasy roster you little troll.

Nothing more pathetic than someone spending time playing human spell checker on an opinion board. Your mother must be so proud!

Daily Horoscope for January 6

Virgo

If you've got an important task to accomplish, this is the time to do it. A Libra Moon ensures that you're level headed, focused and unmoved by the behaviour of others for the next day or so. Don't put any undue pressure on yourself, Virgo: if you don't get it right the first time, you know there'll be another chance. The pessimistic people that you are likely to encounter today need your logic and positive input.
