No rest in final test for Dolphins' roster

Full story: South Florida Sun-Sentinel

Most NFL coaches believe the final exhibition game is nothing more than a meaningless nuisance and would prefer practicing an extra week rather than risking injuries to front-line players.

"Scouts' jobs are also on the line as they attempt to turn another team's CASTAWAYS into Dolphins treasures."

I hear that some sports writers' jobs may be on the line if they keep referring to people that are working their butts off as "garbage ".

C'mon, Harvey, the guys between #s 53 & 75 in the NFL work harder in one pre-season than the entire staff of all newspapers in the country do in one year, if measured in buckets of sweat, hours per week and, perhaps most of all, pure, unadulterated heart. I am gonna guess that the Dolphins'#s 53 through 7x have more heart than all of the sports writers of America.

A little respect, please.

in my opinion probobly not, they hang on as long as they can and then try and trade for something in the future,i actually liked beck from his interveiw when we drafted him but since then he really has looked lost,i really think he will go to the pats

Nobody knows where Beck and McCown stand. Depends on what the coaches are favoring...position stability with another veteran, more position potential with someone who's still developing, or possibly both. There's a chance we keep all 4 qbs, although I'd prefer that we release one to make room for more depth at another position.

Now is when the NFL Europe would come in handy. It's obvious this team has young talent they'd like to develop. You can't put them all on the practice squad.

Beck will end up in Baltimore. They are hurting big time in the QB department.

Not only that, the guy who drafted him, Cam Cameron (remember him?) is the offensive coordinator there.

It makes sense.

Why is it that Caramillo and Armstrong are on the bubble? when Wilford has done less IMO to make his case to remain on the team.

WTF...do any of the NY papers write about the Jets? I guess not they probably only write about winners (Giants) so these fools have to play on Phin's blogs

Sparano should just go up to the podium and say "same shit, different day".

Really sick of him already. Looks like he might end up being a good coach though. Jury is still out.

Wilford might be the biggest blunder the new regime has made. 6mil. signing bonus for not doing anything while the rest of the receiving corps is out there making plays. He better have at least six catches for 100+ YDS. tonight, or Take the loss and dump him. Camarillo is still the man in my eyes, anyone see that hit he made on special teams saturday. Even the KC announcers were saying he should have a spot on the team, and dont forget the TD in OT last year, That had shades of T.Brady to Welker written all over it. IMO Camarillo stays and should be our #3...GO PHINS!!!

Wilford was a possession and red zone receiver in Jax. He's a big body excellent blocker and very tall - not too fast.

He will be on the team and he will carry his weight.

Camarillo should get at least one year just because of the catch and run he made last year to save us from infamy. Plus he's a good special teams guy.

Everyone should chill re: Wilford he is going to help this team.

Daily Horoscope for November 24

Sagittarius

The home fires could get out of control today as the sensitive Moon clashes with the Sun in your sign; you may find that you're saying all the wrong things to certain family members. It could also be that the emotions of others are getting on your nerves; you might want to step out of the house today and spend some time doing your own thing somewhere else.
