Full story: South Florida Sun-Sentinel

Lately, Joey Porter has been critiqued more for his tough talk than his tough play.

You backed it up Joey. You walked the walk but I still prefer you do your talking by your play making. Great game team! Jets, take notice how to dismantle a team, because this team with a pee wee league quarterback kicked your a**es last week.

And to think I almost dropped Ronnie from my Fantasy Team. Unbelievable day, Ronnie! Thanks for my 41 points you gave me! Rock on in 2 weeks. Have a great week off!

I apologize to Joey for calling him a big mouth! He proved to be THE MAN today. He backed up his words. Thanks for making my day!

Joey,

I give you kudos for your play today. I hope your play today becomes a weekly habit where you can act like you've been there before because it will be true. And you'll really show the leadership that this defense needs from your kind of play today. Let it rub off on all the players.

I think the smack you run in public would serve better at team meeting and pow wows where you can really plan ways to beat the other team's players.

Let's build from this game today.

Porter should keep his big mouth shut.

He got lucky this week. I doubt he'll be so lucky in 2 weeks after the bye.

Omar Kelly:

Joey Porter DIDN'T sack Matt Cassel 3 times. He sacked him twice and sacked "the backup's backup" O'Connell almost at the end of the game.

Anyway, he did a great job.

I hope he starts talking trash about Phillip Rivers, so that we can crash the Chargers after our bye week.

nice that porter backed up the talk, and he looked good. what made some of us cringe is that he talked ahead of games last year (not just "lately")-- and didn't back it up. but it is a new day.

Rodney wants some cheese with his sour grapes...The irony of him implying anyone is a dirty player is laughable....

Daily Horoscope for June 18

Scorpio

You're in a nicely emotional and loving mood today, and you'll be happiest if you can be with some of the special people in your life for at least part of the day. You don't have to do anything terribly special when you're together, either, because simply sharing a relaxing meal or watching television together will be enough. If you get talking, the conversation will turn to confidences and secrets.
