Okay, I knew this was coming, not only my previous comment but, how about even with the losses of the draft picks, that was the punishment for the crime, look what they have done with young guys/ rookies. No excuses like you hear from the panel, about the colts and Manning. The smartest move in N.F.L. history they almost pulled off, the releasing of Moss almost to get him back for next to nothing , and a draft pick higher then the one we gave to get him. My last comment is a rebutal for your comment. Did you watch the superbowl following the charges against the Pats? I dare you to say yes, because what they charged the Pats with was being done by the network that aired the game. SO THEY COULD, ANYONE COULD HAVE GOT A HOLD OF THAT. HAVE A SPLENDID TIME FINDING ME WRONG.

There's no doubt the Pats have stockpiled quite a few draft picks, and built a defense with lots of potential. All that doesn't mean squat if you lose to the Ravens in the first round of the playoffs ala '08...

.
The smartest move in N.F.L. history they almost pulled off, the releasing of Moss almost to get him back for next to nothing , and a draft pick higher then the one we gave to get him.
Two things wrong with this statement:

1. "almost" - what does that count for?
2. Are you seriously telling me you think getting Moss back would have been a GOOD thing?

.

Why are you still trying to defend an action by the Pats that has already been ruled on and dealt with? They broke the rules and were punished. The NFL doesn't care what the networks film or who has access to the film after the game. During the game neither team is permitted to watch those feeds, or create a similar film of their own. Period. End of discussion.

The point being they could have got the film from the national broadcast of the game. Moss to return for the veteran minimum would had been the smartest move, give up his contract for I believe 4 to 5 million , just to get him back for 250 k. You can keep hating the Patriots, I am not offended. The Ravens are a good team, have been for 10 years, you speak of them like they are the Detroit Lions, just accept the fact that Pats are a great team of this era.

I wonder If The Pats Would still Have The best Record since 2000....If Everyone Else Cheated Like They Did???....They would Probably be Just a Mediocre Team Once The Playing Field was Leveled....

Bill Bellycheat was ask about The Spy Camera....He said It was a Misinturpretation of The Rules on His Part....

The Pats Haven't Won a SuperBowl Since They Had To Turn In Their Sony....Every Time They Start Doing Good....I can't help But Wonder If Bill Is MisInturpreting The Rules again....

Belichick already took responsibility for producing the film that was handed over to the NFL. It is immaterial whether the same film could have been, or was produced by the networks. The networks didn't break the rules by producing the film, the Pats did.

.

I will repeat - Are you trying to say getting Moss back would have been a GOOD thing?

It doesn't matter how little the Pats could have gotten Moss back for. HE WASN'T WORKING OUT AND THEY DIDN'T WANT OR NEED HIM. The Pats wouldn't have taken him back for $1. He had turned into a whining cancer and the owner wanted him gone.

.

At what point did I say the Ravens were bums? Yes the Ravens are a good team, but they are not the Steelers, Chargers, or Jets.

In the '09 game the Ravens had a QB with 2 years of experience who only completed 4 passes for 34 yards, and yet, the Ravens still won by 19 points. The point I was making was that it doesn't matter how many draft picks you get if the talent you pick up doesn't help you to win games. Especially playoff games. Losing (badly) in the first round does not speak highly of all of the potential in all those picks.

Listen to yourself , out of those three tems 1 and only one has the right to call themselves a team like the Patriots. The Steelers, when did the Chargers or the Jets win a SUPERBOWL,........ that's right, go get a book and learn some football history, before you jump into a debate. My last note THE NEW ENGLAND PATRIOTS ARE THE BEST SINCE 2000 EAT IT AND SWALLOW, YOU DON'T HAVE TO LIKE THE TASTE , BUT YOU DO HAVE TO EAT IT.

Sounds like you're singing a different tune now.

Regardless, I didn't say any of those teams were "like the Patriots". I said the RAVENS are not the Steelers, Chargers, or Jets. Despite this, they still soundly beat the Patriots in the first round of the playoffs last year.

Go get a book and learn some english before you attempt to participate in a debate.

Since you want to discuss history so bady, just remember, THE INDIANAPOLIS COLTS ARE THE BEST SINCE 1999. EAT IT AND SWALLOW, YOU DON'T HAVE TO LIKE THE TASTE, BUT YOU DO HAVE TO EAT IT.

I could care less who they beat during the regular season. The BROWNS killed the Pats 3 weeks ago. All that matters is what you do in the playoffs. Isn't that what you Pats fans are always telling the rest of us?
