Why write this column. If, indeed Mr Robinson was so humiliated at this time and that he is known for nothing else other than this scandal, why bring it back to the front? It serves no purpose, you dont' make any comment on his life as a Christian or his life today. It seems as though you just wanted to remind both us and him that the mistake was made.

In my opinion, this is poor judgement on your part. Surly there is something else for you to write about that doesn't scratch at a wound long healed. Give us a break and write about the coming game or current goings on. Things that, while certainly superficial, are much more timely and less hurtful then this topic.

Regards.

They should have jailed Mr. Robinson for 20 years ... his disgusting indiscretion obviously endangered all of society. I just hope Miami's finest can stay busy this week, routing out prostitutes and their cretinous customers, not to mention those most dangerous of terrorists, the marijuana smokers! Make Miami safe from hookers and pot smokers!

the media won't miss any opportunity to take a shot at Christians. His religion has nothing to do with his conduct which he freely chooses and for which he is responsible. If he was truly a person of conscience, he wouldn't be in the mess he's in.

Come on Hyde, give me a break. This is just a reminder to you that you think your right in not being a believer and that christians are messed up. The bottom line is that you still need to be Born again to make it into heaven, and if every christian in this world falls, whatever you do don't let our failure's keep you out of heaven. Put your eyes on the The Mark, Jesus Christ, so if you want to follow someone follow him, read the bible and do what he tells you to do. Read John chapter 3, David and do what it says, because I don't want anyone to go to hell. This passage will keep you from going to hell if you do what it says. ASk God to help you believe.
As for My brother in the Lord, he did not flee from temptation and being week in the flesh fell. Unlike people, His Father in heaven didn't right him off and loves him so much that he wanted him restored back from all the emotional pain that he caused himself, and I'm sure he is restored. God forgives and forgets most people don't. People, need to be filled with the Holy Spirit to forgive like God forgives, to have peace, joy and to Love people that hate you. I don't reccomend going through live without God's power living on the inside. It's awesome, there is a new strenght living in me that was never there, before I became a Christian and Dave I want you to have it, you'll never regret it. IF God gives you the supernatural power from heave, now I'm not taking about religion, i'm talking about CHrist living in you. It doesn't make sense to your mind, but speaking from experience the power you recieve is incomprehensable. Power over worry, over depression, over death, over anger, frustration. Dave, you got to go after this and I guarantee, if you really want it and I don't now why you wouldn't, you'll be writing story after story about the Love of Jesus, and the revelations that God will give you will blow you away. He will bless your Soul like you can't imagine. The joy of the Lord will become your strenght. All it takes Dave is to repeat this: God I'm a sinner, please forgive me. I believe Jesus is Lord and and believe in my heart that he died for my sins on the cross and rose from the dead. God please Save my I want to serve and follow Jesus the rest of my life. Now if you really meant this, I belive you are born again. Now get yourself a bible and find a Spirit filled church to attend.
