THANKS ROD:

Thanks for all the great years and memories Rod. I hope you can come back but if you can't we understand. You are one of the classiest Broncos to ever wear the uniform. You will surely hold your head high as your name is inducted into the Mile High Ring of Fame. Thank you for everything.

I second that! Not only one of the classiest Broncos, one of the classiest players, period. Smith is one of the few outstanding players in the league who can also be considered a stellar role model. Rod Smith will be a part of many of the "glory stories" I relay to my son for many years to come.

I am in agreement with the two other comments above. Thanks Rod.

What!?!?!?!? You guys don't recall his Domestic Violence run ins with his Ex or live in girlfriend????

I like Rod too and I'm not one to put a person down, but I wouldn't go as far as a "Stellar Role Model!" even though I think he is a good guy!

I do think he needs to retire though! There's no way his body can endure any more punishment. The next major injury to his hip will cause a hip replacement and that's not worth it. He's already accomplished so much and on top of that, the Bronco's aren't going anywhere this year! There's NO WAY they can compete with Indy and New England come playoffs. Great Career Rod and Good luck!

I still miss Shannon Sharpe. That guy was a scream (not while a Raven, of course).

That's what we need - a GOOD Broncos forum started.

ARE YOU READY FOR SOME FOOTBALL???????
