I believe Plummer is a great quarterback. I'm glad we do have him on our offense, he is a threat running the ball and throwing the ball,in the pocket or on the run. I think he should'nt worry about what spectators are thinking of him, just think about what the 50+ players and coaches think of him. You do not need an All-Star, consecutive Pro Bowler to take you to the Super Bowl, it's all about team chemistry and getting the job done with the people on your team that loves the game of football. It also matters if you have a great defense also, just like the Raven's and Buccaneer's did without a Hall of Fame quarterback on their Super Bowl runs.

I think Plummer should have a very good year this year. Javon walker is WAY better than Ashley Lelie and Rod Smith never seems to age. Brandon Marshall looks promising as a #3. The biggest loss this year was Jeb Putzier but hopefully Scheffler can step in and help fill that void. Tatum Bell and Ron Dayne will keep the run game strong. Broncos can get past the Championship game and go right on to win the Superbowl.

If Plummer is so bad then how did he make it to the AFC championship game last year? You don't just step in and make it that far in the NFL unless you have some kind of skills. Cutler is a rookie. I think Plummer is a good quarterback. He damn near won the Rose Bowl single handedly with the Sun Devils. And he is definitely the best thing since Elway.

Yeah I think Plummer is great. Everyone always has to talk low about Plummer, even when he throws for more yards then Elway ever did with the Broncos and even when he had a pro bowl year like last year. He is the quarterback that will take us back to the championship games again this year, and when we win it all, will everybody still put him down? To me and Bronco_fan, he is the best things since Elway. GO BRONCOS!!!!!!!!
P.S. BRONCOS FOREVER

I was actually more pleased with the less interceptions than the record breaking pass numbers. I think if the Broncos keep the run first pass second thing going and keep a solid defense Plummer will do just fine. I definitly think Plummer can get a Superbowl ring before its time to pass the Broncos on to Jay Cutler and start the next era of success for the Denver Broncos.

I think your dreaming Exodus. Jake Plummer is good enough to be a backup QB. We need a championship QB leading us to the promised land.

A backup QB that can lead his team to a 13-3 season yeah I can deal with that guy starting and yes I do think he can win a Superbowl. Broncos Defense is good enough, the rushing game is annually one of the best, and Plummer can make the throws that need to be made. Shannahan helps him out by keeping him out of long yardage situations with the rushing game and he proved last year he can win games. You can't put the AFC championship game completly on Plummer other guys didn't make plays and without Plummer the Broncos would have never gotten so far in the first place.

I hope you're right. I really do. I am a bronco fan, but I don't see the desire in Jake's play. By the way, a championship QB doesn't need his coach to limit him on what type of throws he can and can't do. I know Shannahan will keep him as #1, but from my perspective Plummer doesn't have that winning attitude and I'm sure the AFC Championship loss will affect him mentally this season.

The desire in Jake's play is his play making ability, and the only thing losing the AFC championship is gonna do mentally to everyone on the team is make them want it even more. Why not protect your QB? Plummer didn't have to make big risks like he had to in Arizona and it worked very well. The Broncos haven't had a losing season with Plummer so why hate on him? I mean the most games he has lost as a Bronco QB in the regular season is six. As long as they keep winning it doesn't matter whether or not you think he is a championship QB or not because the Broncos are a championship team.

That's nice to have winning seasons if you call a winning season going to the playoffs and losing. The Broncos may be a championship team, but it's hard to hear year after year that your leader on the field doesn't have what it takes to win a superbowl. Look at him now in the preseason.. still making rookie mistakes after all these years. How long do we have to sit and watch until everyone realizes that he's not our man? I don't hate the man... just calling a spade a spade.

Wow! I was astonished by Jake Plummer's play making ability yesterday against the Rams! 4 out of 5 turnovers due to the great Snake! Denver's defense was out on the field trying to help cover up those mistakes, but unfortunately Jake's play making ability didn't shine through. I know that I may not think too much of his play making ability, but WOW... he got the season started off right... for the Rams.

Plummer's time is limited. If the broncos are out of the play off picture then you well see Cutler. Remember last season we lost our first came against Miami then came on fire. Shanny didn't play the starters very much in the pre-season. I am sure today he is kicking their ass.
