The point of the article is that Orton fits in better than Grossman with the Bears' failed offensive philosophy. Talk about damning with faint praise.

Thanks for wasting my time with this article. Did anyone watch the Viking game? What flashes of quarterbacking brilliance did we see? Chad Pennington can throw a great two yard pass also--let's get him, he's available. The die was cast when Lovie Smith got his extension. Do you think we will ever get an innovative offensive package or coaching staff in here as long as he is around?

Chicago! What a great sports town.
We have Ozzie and Lovie with new contracts.
Ozzie and Lovie sure know how to take thier teams from first to last.
Keep up the good work coach.

chicago sports fans (and some writers) are really starting to embarrass me again.

angelo, please hurry up and sign grossman up.

there's a certain variety of chicago sportsfan that's pure meathead.

these are the guys who've run every qb since sid luckman out of town -even jim mcmahon.

these are the sane guys who everyone makes fun of, because of the saturday night live skits.

grossman's a winner.

he's got a cannon like jeff george, but he doesn't have the crybaby persona.

have you ever heard grossman whine, or blame his o-line for his woes, as many of us believe he'd be entitled to do?
