I like the new uniforms much better than the old ones.

I'm sure money for new uniforms doesn't come from the General Fund. All of you get over yourselves.

What's that have to do with the budget? This isn't Little League - they don't re-use uniforms...

What difference does it make? ND will wipe the field with them in the fall!

Forget about Touchdown Jesus along with the The Big Eastas a whole ~ ND is down this year - Orange Bowl should be the only thing on Edsall's mind. If that goal is not achieved - time for a new coach & staff - 12 years is long enough

Glad to see the program evolve to the point where they can remove "Connecticut" from the chest (High Schoolish)
Not a UConn fan, but glad they did this.

So does this mean were called the Nike Huskies now? I cant see what that tiny spot is top center, but that nike swoosh looks like you can see it from the cheap seats!

CLUELESS??? You mean to tell me that the swoosh is smaller than the little C?? hmmmm I wont call you clueless, not my nature, but one of us definately needs to see an eye Dr. I got mine checked over the winter 20/25 a bit better than average, can you beat that?

20/25 means you can see in 20 feet what most people can see at 25, so your eyes are worse than average.

That Nike Swoosh probably gets them the uniforms for free, or at least at a highly reduced rate.

The uniforms are provided by Nike as part of the school's contract with the company. They don't cost the taxpayers a dime. In fact, Nike pays more than $1 million a year for the privilege of being the official shoe and uniform provider.

Further, it's about time they got back to basics with the uniforms. 20 years ago teams were wearing powder blue. That's not the school color. Silver and black aren't the school colors.

The correct colors are national flag blue and white. Period. The only reason they get changed is to conform with fashion trends and sell more merchandise. Penn State doesn't have to have black or silver uniforms to sell merchandise, I don't see why we do. Bravo to Randy Edsall for putting his foot down and insisting on the change.

Finally someone with a basic understanding of what is happening here. The "Morons" can only complain about the Nike logo on the uniform or question why the team would be "buying" uniforms in tough economic times. Note to the Moron/Haters: Check out the uniforms of all Div 1 football and basketball programs. Guess what you will find?
A logo from Nike, UnderArmor, Adidas, etc.
Note 2: the contract that UCONN has with NIKE has uniforms for ALL sports that UCONN participates in be supplied by NIKE at No Cost to the University. Hummmmm....think about that for a minute. The success of some of the Athletic programs at UCONN leads to having uniforms for all sports provided at No Cost which equals a reduction in costs for the school and for the state. Wait a minute, wait a minute; that is a good thing and as "haters" you couldn't possibly want to talk about that!
