Hey Mike:
Aren't you being overly optimistic by saying "The Ravens offense should break out against Bengals"???
Seems to me that Steve McNair and the Ravens Offense looked just as "Pathetic" against the Bengals (in the seasin opener) as they looked against the Steelers last Monday night (on National TV). In fact, I think the Bengals had more QB sacks & Turnovers against the Ravens than the Steelers did.
How about Bengals 21, and Ravens 13???

Have we forgotten the horrible offense in week 1 against the same Bengals team? If by scoring more than 10 points you mean break out, then you might be right.

Okay, let's all get out the popcorn and Natty Bo and stake out our places on the sofa, in grand anticipation of another scintillating 12-10 victory.

Brian Billick's comments after the game, and after another four Matt Stover field goals: "We grew as a team today;" "we took what their defense gave us," and of course the old chestnut, "a win is a win in this league."

Let the high-octane offense roll!

You're forgetting something. They're not on Monday Night Football, or any primetime game for that matter. They don't usually play that terrible in non-primetime games, just lack the offense to get the job done. The fans will gauge this weekend's game. Maybe now they got the wake-up call Preston was talking about.

today commisioner goodel thanked coach Billick for the surplus of equipment funds now that the league will only have to use yardsticks during Raven games and not chain's...he said the league is also considering etch a scetch'es to measure Raven forward progress...

Well, I got the Bengals score right at "21" but
was 6-points "too optimistic" about the Ravens.
