Will Sunday Be the End for Brett Favre?

Full story: The Associated Press

It might indeed be his final game, and he might have a shot at the playoffs. But for Brett Favre, the Green Bay Packers' regular-season finale in Chicago on Sunday night feels like any another game.

Whatever the outcome it has been some of the best years ever to watch the Packers while Brett was at the helm!

Favre has provided me with years of Packer pride - win or lose, he makes football fun to watch. He is dedicated and loyal to his team, unlike many of the others playing the game today. Personally, I hope he returns for another season but if he doesn't - thanks to Favre, for all the excitment he has brought to football.

Diane it is a pleasure to read comments from people like you. Unfortunately we may be the silent majority. There are a few idiots who try to dominate Packer comments. They are negative and there responses are mostly pathetic in nature. Surely they were not cheeering when the Pack was in the SB and other playoff games. But due to their insidious nature, they will not go away. Keep the faith and comment often ... remember that Favre is the best thing that happened to GB in the past thirty years!

Avant shut up seriously. Just go back to your vikings forum your just jealous that when Favre was here he actually DID things for this team while your viqueens did shit while Favre went to 2 superbowls in a row and won 1 out of 2 but did you guys go to superbowl and win?! No you sat and watched and did shit.
I take it back. The last few years with Favre has been his best, if you know what i mean.

Another couple of troll comments by the 12 year old Avant (don't kids play outside anymore?). Keep it up and you'll have more posts than the Vikings had rushing yards this year.

I have a strong feeling Favre will be back. No doubt in my mind.

Sorry Diane, but there is no fun watching an aging QB make bad decisions and even worse throws. It's ok to remember the good times, but now it must end. I'm a Packer fan first, and the team is more important to me than some over the hill QB setting records. It's time to move forward.

I am not sure you understood the intent of my posting. I fully understand and respect your comments. I was just commenting on Favre in general. I respect Favre for his loyalty to the Packers and his dedication to the game. Sure he has made bad plays and I have been frustrated by them and yes, there has been human error BUT on the otherhand, the line hasn't always been there to support him and the receivers don't always run the correct patterns! I don't think some fans understand that all the blame does not belong on his shoulders. At least he tries and you can see the love of the game in his reactions. Sure, he gets a little over anxious at times but his heart is in the right place. He wants to win. I have always been a Packer fan. My comments were purely meant as a "thank you" to Favre for the enjoyment he has brought me as a fan. He truly seems to love playing football and appears to give it his all when he takes the field. Personally, I would love to see him return next year!

If Brett has a good game against the Bears he may come back, but if they embarass him he just may go away.

Daily Horoscope for December 24

Cancer

Take things gently otherwise you'll end up running round in ever-decreasing circles. Yes, you may still have a lot to do but you won't achieve very much if you develop butterfingers or waste all your energy on a full-blown panic. Maybe you could rope someone into helping you, rather than doing your Cinderella act in the kitchen while everyone else takes it easy?
