2004 Manning (4,557passing) Harrison (1,113rec)
Wayne (1,210rec)
Brandon Stokley (1,077rec) Edgerrin James (1,548rush)

Manning's 49 TD year was quite productive...

Then you look at Brady's 50 TD season, who am I kidding I don't give a rats azz about Brady, but just remember Manning sat out alot of quarters during that run, if he would have played as much as Brady did and didn't have a running game, Manning would have easily thrown for 60+ TD's

Manning= Class

Brady/NE= Classless

Dungy should be ashamed at not taking this game serious. You got a bye week next week to rest so why let Peyton sit it out? what had bigger ramifications - New England's "spy gate" or Dungy's throwing in the towel? Ask the Browns. Maybe its because Crennel is an ex Patriot coach. Dungy should be fined by the league and the Colts should refund the money to the paying customers! Hats off to the Pats and Giants for really playing in a "meaningless" game.

What the game is about is winning. NE won them all, Colts lost three. All the rest is just running up statistics. I'm a Colts fan, but not a fan of running up statistics and not caring about winning. I think that is just as lame as NE running up the score to pad their statistics.

COLTS THROW GAME!!!
The Indianapolis Colts threw the historic last regular-season game in the Hoosier (RCA)Dome Sunday night, or so says the Brown's owner, coaches, players and fans. "They cooperated with the Titans to get a third AFC South team in the playoffs," claimed one angry Brown. An investigation followed by severe sanctions are sought by the Browns' faithful. "We don't buy the Colts' spin that the game was meaningless," spewed one Browns' fan. "The game was among the most meaningful -- it determined who gets in the playoffs, something each player on every team works hard all year long to achieve. You'd think the Colts would have more pride, professionalism, and sense of history, given that the last game in their historic dome will be remebered as a thrown game," he complained. "Now that they've undermined the meaning and integrity of that key game, the playoff games will lose some meaning and integrity as a direct consequence. Maybe the cheating Patriots, who shouldn't even be allowed in the playoffs, will be crowned Superbowl champions and the NFL spin club will call it a 'very special' year. Maybe it's all meaningless and not worth anyone's time." Irsay, the owner of the Colts, says no Colt fans have sought refunds for last night's game, "though there are always some malcontents," he noted. Asked if he planned to discount "meaningless-game" tickets in the future, Irsay had no comment.

Lets see, either rest our starters or let them play with the potential to get hurt.....no *I* don't see the problem.

Are you the Pat's 'video spy'?, either way go crawl back into your Taxachusetts hole.

Why would you play payton any more in the last game than you have to, could you imagine and injury to him not and what it would do? One would be really dumb to think that the titans wouldnt want to take him out.
and as far asa the patriots, they were caught cheating , in college ball they wouldnt even go to a bowl game , i think they shoulda banned the pats from the playoffs!, but that would be bad pr i guess.

Football is a business just like any other, Coach Dungy's decision to rest the starters was a good one, we have an opportunity to win another Superbowl this year, why play your starters the whole game and risk injury ? it was a business decision and a good business decision @ that, some of you folks need to get a real job and give it a rest.

By not calling a time out with 30 seconds left, the Colts guaranteed that the Titans would win and Dungy violated the integrity of the game.

Madden was railing on this. It's ok to not play your starters but to turn the game into a joke at the end would be like ignoring the tribulations of one's son.

Even when somebody else beats the Colt's you Dolt's have to attack the Pats. Now you are making excuses for Manning no longer having the record.

Colt's fans= classless.

Like calling a timeout at the end would have changed the outcome. Madden is a blow hard.

What this game did show is that the Colt's have no depth at all. But that's fine. They have a city full of fans ready to make excuses for them.

In love how the Colt's fans think they are all full of class yet they come onto a forum about the Colt's Titans game and start attacking the Patriots. People with class don't attack others.

What a sad day for the NFL and embarrassing day for the Colts. The Titans get into the playoffs playing a 15 game schedule, because that 16th game was not played against a legitimate NFL team, just a bunch of ham and eggers. Welcome to the top of the Cleveland hate list, Colts. Dungy should be ashamed.

The Colts play a game with most of the starters out for three quarters and lose by only six points.
Which is better then most teams would have done under the same conditions.

They should have knocked the Titans out. You dont want to take the chance to play a team from your own division a third time. I gurrantee you Fisher would have knocked the Colts out if he was in the same situation. This may come back and bite them.
