I still enjoyed watching Tebow get a beat down last year in the Capital One Bowl by Michigan. He wasn't all smiles that day that's for sure. No doubt Alabama proved they weren't that good, which many already suspected.

Did Tebow thank Jesus when he lost to Ole Miss?

Or does he only thank Jesus when he wins?

Methinks Jesus doesn't care one way or the other.

Congrats to Florida. However, I still don't believe that the Gators deserve to go to the national championship. Texas, Oklahoma, and Alabama are one loss teams who were defeated by ranked opponents. Florida ended up losing to Ole Miss who was an unranked opponent during the regular season. Therefore, I don't believe Florida deserves to go to the championship. If Florida is voted to go to the championship game ahead of teams who had only one loss to a ranked opponent, then that shows how terribly biased college football still is.

Flip people like you just need to go away. What does it matter to you if Tebow thanks Jesus for giving him the talent to earn that victory? Are you terribly offended by what he said? Honestly, what difference does it make to you? Does what Tebow said effect you in absolutely any way whatsoever?

Talk about jealously...get real people. A great game that lived up to the hype. The rest of you just sit back and wait to see the Gators and Tebow Jan. 8.

Unfortunately, I think Florida will go to the championship strictly out of favoritism despite a loss versus an unranked opponent. They'll go the championship despite the fact that Alabama, Texas, and Oklahoma have one loss apiece to a ranked opponent. Favoritism and bias and college football will still end up living tomorrow with the Gators going to a national championship even though they most certainly don't deserve to go.

That should be "Favoritism and bias in college football will still end up living on tomorro,"

I wonder if he'll get a beat down like he did this past January. I agree with the other posters. Florida lost to an unranked team. That should put them behind the one-loss teams who's loss was to a ranked team. The BCS should just omit the C because that's what it is.

Congrats Gators!! Impressive win over 'bama! With that way, I think you guys should move up to 3 in the polls. Probably Alabama would drop to 6th or 7th.

It lets me know that Tebow (or any other athlete who thanks Jesus) is delusional. Jesus doesn't give a s hit about college football. Sad but true.
Yo Flip, I'm just as mad as you are or even madder that the Gutters just won...LOL!!! But about Jesus not caring about football is true. He cares about it but not like we do down here. Sometimes we get to caught up in the game. I love football but still have to put my priorities in order. Its been a wild ride though. The Tide are still a fabulous team and are very lucky they have Saban as their coach.

Stupidity makes my head hurt; right now I have the mother of all migraines.

So, Alabama should go to the NC game because their loss was to a ranked team? Does it at all matter that the ranked team they lost to was Florida?

Head-to-head means everything. On that basis, Florida and Texas should be in Miami next month.

By your logic, then Alabama would deserve to go to the title game ahead of Florida, even though UF beat Bama. Arguments like this are exactly why we need a playoff system.

Hmmm, mostly nitwits posting here. I guess the Gator fans are busy celebrating their trip to the big game in January. The only question is whether they move to 2 or 1 in the BCS poll.

We need a last minute playoff right now. I wish Obama would intervene somehow. Alot of great teams getting snubbed especially Texas. I don't want OU to choke again. Texas should really make a case.

I don't know, the BCS always makes me nervous. But the BCS loves the hot team, and no team has been hotter than Florida (with the possible exception of Oklahoma). That, plus a win over the No. 1 team on a neutral field, shut be enough to send UF to MIA.

The whole BCS system sucks. Its a corrupt system for a corrupt world. Makes perfect sense. If they had a playoff Texas Tech could still find its way in the NC picture. So many what 'if' scenarios that will never be settled.

@ Chris, you're using a losing argument there buddy.

You're saying Florida and OU are going because the system is "biased" but what are rankings? Biased. Ole Miss is now a ranked team and SHOULD rightfully be ranked. They're a very good team. They beat LSU and they beat us by one point. They very nearly beat Alabama as well.

They're rightfully ranked. Their main flaw is playing in the SEC which causes you to be injury prone and lose to the top tiered programs.

Florida vs. OU so long as OU doesn't choke in the Big 12 game. Possible but unlikely.

If you think about it OU and Alabama should be going to the BCS NC according to some very respectable analysts in John Saunders and company on ABC. Those teams didn't lose to unranked teams or lower ranked teams.

I'll leave the squabbling over the BCS to everyone else. The Gators are SEC Champs again, and no one can take that away. Wherever they end up-- it's great to be a Florida Gator. Goooo Gators!
