Urban Meyer just could not take being out of the spotlight after being thumped by Bama. What does he do? He throws out a bombshell a week before the bowl game. Spotlight back on him and taken away from his team, his seniors, Tebow. Well, he was just kidding, he is not going anywhere. Way to make it all about you urban.

Can't wait to see TeBLOW fail in the NFL... Also found it interesting to see how the Bearcats did against a real team. The Cats are a good team but play in a WEAK WEAK Conference and were obviously overhyped....

Ding dong, the witch is dead! No more Tebow, maybe no more Meyer, maybe no more Florida. All of you football fans tired of run up scores on patsies, cry baby quarterbacks, and prima donna coaches that lie, cheat, an steal to win, please raise your hands!

What happened Cincy fans? I thought your team was the best in Ohio. I don't see any of you talking crap this morning.

That was a great victory for our Florida Gators. The only problem was that it was kind of boring to watch a one-sided rout. I stopped watching at halftime. Congratulations to Ohio State for their victory against the Ducks. It's a great way to reinvigorate the program for the new decade. It's also atonement for the losses to USC and Purdue. Good job. As for Cincinnati, they are just not up to the level of playing the SEC's elite yet. But then again, most teams aren't.

Cincy was good, but over-rated, no fault of their own. The rankings seem to be getting more and more arbitrary and motivated by things other than football prowess. Just one more reason to go to a playoff system. I wish UF could have been matched up with Iowa.

Gators would have done the same to the Buckeyes just like they did a few years back...PAC-10 has already proved that they are weak in bowl games this year...

After playing FL do you still think Cinci wished they were in the big game with Alabama??? Ho Ho Ho. Bama would show no mercy and let them score to save face!!! Definately out of their league!!!

First of all this is a post about the Florida v. Cincinnati game where do the Buckeyes fit in the discussion? Second of all the Bearcats lost their coach who called all the plays and Florida played a great offensive game. I think Cincinnati is much better than they showed but Florida simply exposed a BAD defense that was exposed by UConn and Pittsburgh (not that impressive when you look at it). The Bearcats relied on their offense to win games this year and they were clearly out of sync and up against a pretty good defense.

Now they can go back to a second division football program and stop pretending they could beat OSU.

To the person who said they would have rather seen UF matched up with Iowa that would have been disastrous. They woulda jerked Iowa like they jerked them in the 2006 Capital One bowl when they played the Gators. As for the Bearcats I think you guys played in very well played conference. It wasn't your night thats all. Much to be proud of. On another note you 'Cat fans were talking a lot of smack. Thats why you gotta stay humble. I wanted you guys to win. Although I don't like the Gutters...LOL!!! They show up in big games pretty much and lay a smackdown. To bad Kelly wasn't there.

The outcome of this game was just how I thought it would be. UC cannot compete with the top teams in SEC nor could they compete with the top teams in the Big Ten. Go Bucks, the best team in O-H-I-O!

The Buckeyes fit very easily in to this story from all of the bearcats fans coming in these very same forums talking sh!t the last four months about the over rated buckeyes sucking and being lucky not to play cinici this year.......blah blah blah and so on. I was really sad to have to root for the (hated) Gators and Teblow yesterday but I did. I will usually throw my support to the Ohio teams in Bowl games and the Basketball tourney, but you pompus sh!ts made it difficult.
Dont hear so much bearcat noise now. Good luck next year.

It should have been TCU-Florida (Sugar Bowl), Georgia Tech-Boise State (Orange Bowl), and Iowa-Cincinnati (Fiesta Bowl). Those would have been three great matchups!!!!!!

At least UCONN is getting it done against South Carolina. They shutting them out I'm very impressed. Mind you USC is an SEC team.

I've looked everywhere for JStew but can't find him: The other sports forums, the Wendy's drive-thru window, the back of the garbage truck, the homeless shelter, the soup kitchen, under some bridges. No JStew anywhere. Surprising isn't it.
