We can only score 25 on Duke and UF scores 30 on UGA in a loss. It's going to be an ugly game in the swamp for FSU. Although the Noles seem to play down to their opponent. They will probably play the gators tough. It will be a miracle if they win more than 1 of their remaining games.

Our team is bad and does not have the killer instinct that was so common during our streak of top five finishes. We can't keep getting field goals instead TD's and when is the last time we had a shutout. In essence, the problem is on both sides of the ball and somehow it needs to get fixed.

"What was the best thing Drew did?" FSU Coach Bobby Bowden asked after the game. "Kept you from getting beat."

WHAT A JERK! So BB agrees with several of the posters on the Tally Democrat discussion board--XL LOST the game for the Noles last week. Never mind the porous defensive secondary, never mind the weak offensive line, and, most of all, never mind the dumb, dumb, dumb anachronistic I-offense with an option qb taking snaps under center. When was the last time Tim Tebo did THAT?
So BB's fair-haired boy beat Duke. Big whoop! Now comes the baptism of fire for the Noles, and don't think the Hokies won't be FIRED UP after their UNBELIEVABLE loss to BC in Blacksburg!
Those of us who know what XL is capable of knew from the get go that he went to the wrong school, so the original dumb move was his and his alone. Now it's time for XL to cut his losses and come home to Bethune-Cookman for his final year of eligibility leading the Wyatt-bone offense. Last time I checked, the NFL signs Wildcat alumni too!

Why is Noles kicker Gary Cismesia so darn FAT?!!!

His shirt was stretched so tight and his gut was rolled over his waist.

Disgusting!

FSU is 5-3 with all losses in conference.....UF is 5-3 with all losses in conference, BUT UF starts season with two cupcakes to pad their record....GA beat them badly...worse than score shows....but writers say FSU is struggling, while UF is having some problems due to Tebows sore shoulder....give me a break!! Sentinel very biased....is pro Gators....they win National Championship and now will not go to SEC champrionship.....may go 6-6 and yet I see no call for Meyers to step aside.....I think he should go...and let Steveo, the ole ball coach know when he leaves....way too many fair weather Noles fans....not true supporters....most too young to remember when Bobby came to Tally....IF they were even alive yet....he spoiled us in the 90s....neither current QB for Noles very good....and current assistant coaches not helping them....not coaching to their level of expertese....will be long season for some time to come....change in coaching will not change the performance level at FSU....only the players can do that.

Both QBs pretty much suck - thats the bottom line.

Listening to Cocker announce the game was a joke - saying how it now looks like FSU is back and this and that.

Give me a break' they beat Duke - whooptidoo. I'll be impressed when they beat BC and then Va Tech.

I do agree with the guy who said this offense needs to take responsibility for its woes. Absolutely. I hope Lee does go to Bethune Cookman - he's just wasting our time and talent here. Heck - I wish Weatherford would go with him...

for his sake I think X should go. Same old story. Stay Puff marshmallow man can't keep kicking 3-5 field goals a game because our offensive O Line eats Special K for breakfast and wear pantyhose under their uniforms. Not to mention the lack of mental capacity as FSU is 118 out of 119 Div1 teams in penalties. A great team can get away with that, a team that does not execute consistently, cannot.

So if XL was starting and the Noles were 7-1 would he still be at the wrong school? Right, I thought so. Who was the last BCC QB drafted by the NFL? All fans thought he would bring something to the table. He has not and it seems he may not have the QB accumen his HS record indicated. I realize that the basis for much of your review is he is black. And just because of that he is better. Because of that, FSU and it's coaches are racists and will not give him a real chance, so it is better that he just become a quitter and go to BCC. Forget the QB there who made a commitment and what the coaches have done for him. You can now sit on the bench, we just got one of our on back from the big dance. He is gonna vault us to the BCS. For some, it is about one thing. You have pretty much said he is only there for a posible draft pick. No mention of education. Is there something we should know that you obviously do?

Where do you see anger? You been drinking all day watching NFL?
I back Xavier no matter what he does. He may not get another start at FSU, and If he can play at BCC without having to sit out a year, that may be best for him.I back FSU no matter what they do. I called for X to get some reps at the beginning of the season when the offense looks the same way it does now. I pointed out facts and observations about why FSU has not been so successful in certain areas.

I guess your cheery tone was hid underneath the negative jabs at Cismesia, what Trickett is trying to do and the teams mental capacity. We are dealing with a less than stellar talent pool as in years past and we have found only a few players willing to give some extra heart. Cismesia has been a bright spot. Preston Parker is playing well. And Saturday Drew seemed a little more commanding and the receivers seemed like they gave a little extra. That is what is needed. These are some of the things I noticed while sitting in the stadium in my seats on row one.

As for Lee. He has had problems from early on with some of the mental aspects of the game. He would be better to take a red shirt here and come out as a starting senior than to go to BCC.

Can someone tell me why we can't learn time management and play calling coordination? We use our timeouts at the dumbest times and the play captains are constantly throwing thei hands in the air waiting for the play. We also get caught too often not having our players on the field for the next play and the opposing offense catches us flat footed. Poor team discipline mostly with the coaches.

I think fsu comes out fired up and stuns the boston college crowd early from then on it will be a defensive game but fsu shocks everyone with a close win the noles will play like hte noles of old and crush boston college's chance at the title. The boys from Tallahassee are coming to play like they know they can.

Watch out for #5 Preston Parker he is special you will here his name all night
