Wow, Killing Moon flushed a few knuckledragger apologists out of their dens. Guess it was a slow day for chiseling pictograms, hunting mammoths or figuring out how to pour water out of a boot with the directions printed on the bottom.

I made that comment earlier and the Sentinel censored it off the board.
Wonder why.

From what I understand, he was baggin some dude's wife and brought her home or to an apt near her home. The husband was onto it and popped him.
If that's the case, he deserved what he got.

Its suprising the number of braindead sheep who pay big $$$ for tickets or waste a whole day watching a bunch of felons, thugs, and spoiled babies throw around a leather ball. I must be missing something, I know Neanderthal genes.
It's surprising the number of brain dead sheep who spend time blogging just to be an a**hole.

First of all, for those of you who are calling this a “drug deal gone wrong”, go to hell.
For those of you who are not even from Jacksonville, but are calling Riverside a bad area, do your research. Riverside is actually a historic part of Jacksonville, and a rather expensive area to live in. Instead of making dim-witted comments about the private life of a grown man, you should be praying for his recovery. What grown individual hasn’t been out at 2:45 in the morning? That doesn’t mean that he deserved to be shot. Collier is not a thug, Pettway is not a thug and I can make that judgment because I know both of them. Just because they play football, people assume that they are in the clubs to show off. Wrong again. Stop watching so much television. Sure you have those who like to go out and flaunt what they have; the ones who get a little money and their heads blow up. However, Richard and Kenny are not like that. They made a dumb decision that unfortunately put them in a dreadful situation. They are not the first to do this, but because of who they are and what they do, you people are basically saying that it is their fault that this happened. Of course we all know that they were set up (excuse my French, ill have to come down to your level of ignorance for just a moment) WE ALSO KNOW WHO THE STUPID TRIFLIN’ ASS H@%* ARE THAT SET THEM UP!!!! DESPITE WHAT THE NEWS SAYS WE ALL KNOW WHO YOU B*&%#ES ARE!!!! A sincere “Thank You” goes out to those of you who have this mans health and well being in mind, thank you to all of you praying that he is okay. Unfortunately there are those of you who think that your negative comments are even worth being posted, and you are so simple in your thought process. Those of us with a good heart pray that nothing like this ever happens to anyone in your family.
And for “reality check” from Deltona, in my opinion, I would say that you made one of the most ignorant comments of all in saying
“Just because your player got shot buying weed in the middle of the night doesn't mean you have to take it out on Orlando. Don't worry we've had a Magic player shot in the street in the past too. You know, you can "them" out of the hood, but you can't take the hood out of "them".”.
You may feel like situations like this only happen in the “hood”, but your statement just proved how ill-bred you really are. The “hood” stories are the ones that make the news, just to make it seem as if certain classes of people are so savage like. However, if you take a deeper look, do a little more research, READ maybe, you will see that the same things happen in the suburbs.

That is a very nice area of Jacksonville, which is why I am so stunned. I don't get how that happened. My thoughts are with RC and his family.
thanks for your concern

The area that Richard was shot in is very nice, which just goes to show you ignorant people that violence like this is not limited to the "hood", stop watching so much damn TV and living off rap songs idiots. For those of you who are truly concerned, he is doing as well as he can be under the circumstances. He is paralyzed from the waist down and he is now an amputee, knowing that he will not only never again play football but he will never even walk is taking its toll on him and his family. Could you imagine waking up completely oblivious to what happened, paralyzed and missing one of you appendages? They did catch the man involved and now the truth will come to light as far as the set-up is concerned. Kenny was not hit because Kenny was not the target, and it’s as simple as that!! Kenny was not hit but Richard was his friend and although he was not harmed physically, he is hurting mentally.
