History will repeat itself! The team that takes Simms goes deep into the playoffs this year and win the Super Bowl within the next three.

If he will play for reasonable backup pay, I say that would be a good pickup and an upgrade over Brad Johnson at age 40.

Simms will never play as he did before. And really he wasn't all that good back then either. Not a bad back-up I guess.

Hey Scotty, are you sure about that?? take out the 2006 season where Tampa OL couldn't protect and none are starters for the team. In 2005 when Simms started his career he went 7-0 when sacked 2 or less times!! 0-5 when sacked 2 or more times. Never played out of the shot gun and was a first time starter. He was 5-1 in our divison including winning 3 road games. Are you kidding me, how many young starters can hang their hat on that? Lets not forget he is unproven having only 15 starts and the 0-3 start in 2006 wasn't his fault, blame the poor OL and Gruden for not using the shot gun. Simms is going to win a SB or maybe 2 or 3 in his career. Just like the other WB's that left Tampa and went on to win SB for other teams. Like I said, my money is on Simms!!
