If they had a game between the Dallas Cowboys and the Pittsburg Steelers would they have missed any of the game? I think not they thought that Pittsburgh and Jacksonville would be a snore fest much like the game Jacksonville and Baltimore played a few years ago on Sunday Night football. That game was 6-3.

I was getting so pissed off watching the game on stupid ESPN. They wouldn't just LEAVE THE F-IN' CAMERA ON THE FIELD! I'm sorry, but I don't care who the hell Dwayne Wade is and how good he is at basketball. This is a football game! If I wanted to watch basketball, I would do that. And then between EVERY SINGLE PLAY they'd show all the commentators or talk to the chicks on the field or show the idiot cheerleaders! Whatever, all that stuff bugged me, but missing those two plays REALLY ticked me off. I hope the Steelers don't have too many more Monday Night games cuz I don't think I can take watching ESPN anymore if that's how it's gonna be!!!

Pro Football Peaked this year! So, don't worry. Between deliberately missing not 1, but 2, plays and taking Mon. Nite off the free airwaves; it will soon be skyrocketting into mediocrity.
It's odd that the critics aren't comparing the cable #'s to ABC's #'s. I'll bet they're not so close !?!

I sent an email to the network but the reporter for the Post Gazette picked it up and put it on the blog. Two plays in one game to miss is two too many. And all the do is b--- sh--! Finally I turned the audio off and turned my radio on and heard the play by play and watched the TV. It was great. The radio announcers were great and interested in the game and gave an exciting play by play call. Maybe we should all try that and let ESPN and NBC know!

That's a really good idea. Next time we have a Monday Night game, I'm gonna try that. Although the announcers pissed me off, what I was seriously mad about was how they couldn't just keep the camera on the game. I don't care who the hell Dwayne Wade is, I don't care what the chicks on the field have to say, and I don't care what the announcers look like! I just wanna watch the game!

Exactly. The problem is that ESPN thinks they are doing a good job. They have made the game secondary to its announcers (who are really terrible) and the sideline gimmicks and the guest speakers in the booth. They must think that there ideas are going to make the football game better, but it just means we see less of it. I guess it really means they think these gimmicks are better than the game itself. This is going to be a long Monday night season.

I used to get tired of listening to John Madden but I'd much rather watch primetime games on NBC than have to listen to that big-head "broken theisman" every Monday night. Notice how he jumps ship whenever a team starts playing well during a game. Send him back to the studio!

Yeah, I agree. I can't stand it when announcers do that!

Daily Horoscope for December 24

Capricorn

Take things slowly and all will be well. However, you must resist a tendency to be perfectionist over things that don't really matter, otherwise you'll never finish the chores. If you're busy with Christmas preparations, you'll have to control a nagging feeling that you've got to compete with the way other people have done things in the past.
