What a waste. We already have enough corners. We need a RB, WR, GOOD DE, DT, and a Safety not another CB who hasn't seen action in 3 1/2 years. This off season isn't looking good so far.

Personally, I would like to address the DT position, since run stopping has been our bread and butter. I would also be interested in Kenneth Moore out of Wake Forest as a WR, someone with good hands, can play specail teams, and can contribute almost anywhere, especailly if Jarrett doesn't work out. We need a second back, since one cannot carry a load alone in the NFL anymore. Finally, a good versitile OL, one who can play several positions, even if hes not the best at a single one, just because we seem to have so many injuries there.

I agree Ken. The secondary shaped up pretty well last year. One of few bright spots of '08. Likely the only way this pans out to be a smart move is if they plan on moving Lucas to FS where he would likely excel. Considering how many times he had to make pickups cross-field b/c of blown coverage assignments he's pretty much playing safty already.

I'm hoping they dig deep for a proven DE and DT, and Draft high at the OT and RB positions. The only real problem I have with moves so far is the Panthers releasing Jenkins w/o an alternative at that position. It's kind a remincient of letting Keshawn go. Mouth or no mouth both those guys were gamers.

ITS TIME FOR A CHANGE........ Can the panthers really get anbody with any talent to join them i guess not .... i totally agree with capel 67 ... they should have gone after m. turner but he now with the falcons can they really get there sh*t together and get the players that still avaiable .. another question for the panthers i got to ask and no disrespect to anybody but what should they do with peppers i like him alot a good ball player but really he stats was down down last yr and if he stay he granted 15.0 million signing bonas ..is he wroth that much or should we trade him and get another player to fulfilled that postion ... should they try and go ahead and resign him and fix that problem with the salery cap issue .. but they need to do something get some more talent in here

I don't understand the Carolina GM sometimes. There are players available that could really help out our team and we are signing busted corners like Colclough, when cornerback is actually a strong part of our team. The problems with our team seem pretty obvious. We need help on both sides of the line, badly. Letting Wahle go is understandable but why didn't we go after Faneca? He is a grinder that would definitely help out the stagnant Carolina run game. Justin Smith? Could have bolstered a weakened d-line. We're trading away Jenkins for a third and sixth rounder? Ridiculous. How bout a wr? How long are we going to keep Steve Smith doing it all by himself? And what happens when he gets hurt? Moss, Berrian, Stallworth would have opened up our offense and made it a lot more dynamic, which is what we need. Safety and qb are also big concerns. To me, we should be signing some studs at the positions where we have glaring needs. Not looking at these bland depth players. Rod Coleman? Colclough? Tyler Brayton? Come on man... Hopefully this GM shows some genius in the upcoming draft. If not I think we might need a change. And not with John Fox. How bout we trade up and get either one of the Longs'(OT or DE) or Matt Ryan? Man that would make too much sense and help stabilize the position for years... Hmmm. Oh maybe just trade up enough to get Gholston. We need players that are going to enable us to play the way we play. Physical, pressure D from the front 4, and a power run game. We can't even play the way the team is built to play right now. We are missing pieces and I feel like the GM can't see it. Frustrated but loyal Panthers fan here.

We need a RB what happened with Turner. I can't believe they let the Falcons get him that guy is the kind of stud we need at RB.

Fox and Hurney must don't want a dominant team. He made the statement that he wanted a team that could run the ball and defend the run. A team built like the tradition the Steelers were built on. OK! WHAT ARE WE DOING TO MEET THAT? We didn't do anything in Free Agency last year and the same this year. They need to release a GM and Head Coach for this mess they doin!

Daily Horoscope for December 11

Gemini

Beware of taking on too much because it will be an effort to get through it all. You might even have to give up the unequal struggle, which won't do much for your ego or your reputation. Be especially careful about this if you're at work because a certain person may try to take advantage of what they see as your weakness or failure to deliver the goods.
