Soma is right, all the hard work is paying off. And, he can learn from other's mistakes.

Keep up the hard work Soma, and keep your focus on your future. Good luck in all you attempt.

Well if your so tired of it then stop reading it. My brother has accomplished something many of you in this community wished he wouldn't so if you don't wanna support something positive then shut up and keep it to yourself because no one wants to hear it. I'll give you the signs incident but that was only one time so get over it. As for my cousin Rey don't be so judgemental he messed up and he's not perfect he made a bad judgement call and is now trying to fix the mess he created. It must be nice for you to be so PERFECT and to sit back and just judge people. You really should get a new day job and stop being such a big jerk. We have a great family and nothing you say will ever take away from that. Go Soma and Go Trojans!

Ana, tell Soma to play linebacker. Lane Kiffin has a history of not using fullbacks back from his days at USC, the Raiders and Tennessee. All Soma would do under Lane is block if played at fullback and Kiff loves scat backs (speedy running backs). Soma will get playing time at fullback, but if he wants the stats and to impress the NFL scouts later down the road, linebacker is the way to go.

And better yet he has a great opportunity for a great education also. The next four years will really be a foundation for the rest of his life. Wishing him well and REY as well, these are great times for those guys, make the most of them.

Bigg up to Soma Vainuku on becoming a Trojan. I don't know him but being Polynesian I always like hearing about our people taking advantage of opportunities their blessed with. Good luck big man and don't mind the haters they're everywhere bro and they will multiply with the more success you achieve. Just shake them off and keep it movin.

Congrats for your brother and family, i'm a local Humboldt guy and knew your cousin, we went to high school together. I don't see many negative posts on this thread though, regarding your family. Neverless, congrats! "Humboldt in the house"

Did he read any articles at ESPN.com lately about USC? Past recruiting infractions could make this next season and potentially others after it worth nothing if the NCAA finds that USC is guilty. Besides the fact that scholarships could take a major hit, too. Might have been worthwhile to consider a different school who's hands are less dirty. Hope he saved some money, Trojans aren't just expensive in the drug store.

There was a guy on here who was talking smack so I was just responding to that but it seems as if he deleted it or someone else.
