Last year we let go of our defensive linemen before having replacements. Please don't make that mistake again Dolphins!

I thought Rex had a very good year - but ya gotta go with whatever the Tuna wants at this point - we all know he has a plan and only he knows who will fit into it.

Letting someone hang is usually just a negotiating tactic. At 325 they may not think he's big enough for the OL.

I thought I already posted this but - I heard last night on NFL Network the Fins are $44M under the cap. That should make for an interesting couple of months.

Hey Rex:

Why don't you shut up and lose 30 pounds before you start whining...what is it down there in Miami that makes mediocre players think they belong in Canton?

This team hasn't had a good drive blocker on third-and- short since Bob Kuechenburg.

That's almost a quarter of a century now, but who's counting.

I'm pretty sure but this might not be the best way to warm up to Bill Parcells and hope to get signed to a new contract.

I would sign him now before the FA period starts. O-Lineman get ridiculous amounts of money in FA. Just look at what the average McIntosh got last year.

He's versatile and pretty good I would sign him before the price gets too high.

I understand your point, but then again, look at the McIntosh got and wonder why anyone would waste that kind of money again. I can't remember another offensive lineman in the history of the Dolphins that could be counted on to commit a minimum of one false start penalty a game. And that was on a good day.

Ask the backs what they think of Hadnot. He was a solid, reliable contributor all season. He provides quality depth along the entire interior and should have been re-upped during the season. He has a legit reason to be frustrated.
Oh Yes and you know so much more footbal than Parcells Its a conspiracy that Wayne has not signed you up yet and fired the Tuna , a crying shame i tell ya, PLEEESZZE!

Come on sign Rex already. You already let one starter go on the O line and we cannot afford to build the line again. They were solid this year. Keep the positives and stop loading up on the negatives. Jeez Wayne is selling out already because he can't stand it. The only thing left is for the Dolphins to pack up the Mayflower Trucks and move in the middle of the night to an unknown destination. Alaska?!

I can understand and somewhat agree with the perspective of being made to look good in a team of otherwise average competitors. If he in fact was your best lineman, then let him prove it in the new regime. He is/was a 6th round pick, so he will not command that great of a salary. Sign him to a fair contract for 2-3 years and bring in compitition so he can prove himself. Remember, we had O-Lineman fall left and right last year so we could use the depth. Granted, he will probably not best out a Flozell Adams, but if it gets him to compete more.......
Guy ... Adams is an LT hadnot is a guard .... FLASH they won't be competing against each other so there willbe no need for rex to try to beat out adams Gawd! are there any informed persons out there?

Its obvious to me that you retards dont know Jack Sh!T about the dolphins offensive line. Rex Hadnot was the least of our 1-15 problems. He started every game at Right Guard and really excelled, while giving some tips to our future pro bowler Samson Satele. People don't realize how important Rex really is. Not only do we have holes on our line but by losing LJ and now maybe Rex, the depth will decrease. Also lets just say Samson for some reason gets injured, Rex can come in right away and step in. He was set to become our center for last season b4 samson was drafted. So by losing Rex, we lose heart (which most players on our team dont have) We lose an above average lineman. and we lose a player that is begging to stay on a 1-15 team.....we must resign hadnot at least to a 2 year deal.
xcelled? WTF r u taking about,l he is an average guard with good pulling skills. He can be a so so center BUT he is bad at pass blocking and at 6'1" ( No way he is 6'2" he problably is just 6' flat) He is a liability on play action

His agent is looking in the neighborhood of 5 mill per Parcells aint going to touch for a hair over 4 mill plus and perhaps he is thinking less. Let him go out in FA coming off a 1-15 team I seriously doubt anybody will give hiom the % but if some one is stupid enough to do hey more power to Rex. On the other hand if he is in the 4 neighborhood and they want him no one will stop them Besides I had rather pay 6 pluis to Faneca he is way better

Have a little faith. We asked the Dolphins to become a better team, and they're doing their best. Parcells is rebuilding the team in his image. Don't forget - many of these guys contributed to being 1-15 moreso than others. Let them do their job, fer crissakes.

Lets face it, being the Most Valuable Lineman on a Dolphins Offensive Line that was absolutely horrid isn't a real accomplishment. It certainly doesn't warrant a $5 million per season salary his agent is reportedly asking for Rex. He is not worth it and I would rather see the Dolphins sign Faneca for that amount of money.

Rex is "frustrated"? So sorry. That's what happens when you are one Brian Billick bad decision away from being 0-16. EVERYONE"S expendable.

I can't believe that they would let the OL coach Houck walk away. He is one of the best!
