Couglin has one of the most loaded offense in the league. The offensive coordinator is awful. Giants should be averaging 30 points a game. A lot of the blame falls on Couglin. Eli is a completely different QB with the no huddle. Why the hell does not go with the no huddle more often??????

I agree. Teams that throw 50 times a game usually lose. Especially when their QB isn't that good. The benefit of running the ball is not only to move the chains but also to kill the clock and keep your defense off the field. I'm not sure how that works when all your running backs are hurt, but you can still kill the clock.

The problem with Coughlin is he is a Grade B coach. He can get between 6-11 wins a year but no more and only through one round of the playoffs max.
He's old and inflexible. The name of the game is WINNING. You can do that by keeping the other side off balance. A little no-huddle hear and a little burn the clock there. And then change. Perhaps Eli isn't so good with all the audbile raz-ma-taz after a huddle. Let go up to the line call the play and chuck the ball down field! |
