Manning is simply the best QB of his generation, maybe of all time...

I've never seen anyone better at QB. Manning really diced people up, and it's rare that he has a game with more than one INT. And he's also been able to do this over the past few years with not much of a running game to support him.

Like him or not, the guy's an amazing QB.

Peyton is #1 EVER. Switch him with Tom Brady and Peyton has probably 5 or 6 rings with the Patriots.

As for Rexy, I love the guy. We need more guys like him.

Payton is #1, but the Colts management decision to lay down for the Jets and the Bills will taint this season even if the Colts beat the Saints in Miami. Winning the Super Bowl and having a undefeated 19-0 season are not mutually exclusive.

What's the problem Arace? Manning did a great job but why all the venom for Rex Ryan? Are you still steamed because your butt buddy Mangini got canned and Ryan happily replaced him at the helm? Are you upset because players and fans alike seem to like Rex Ryan more?

Rex Ryan exuded confidence heading into yesterday's game. If you want to call it trash talking, go ahead and call it that but in my book trash talking occurs when people go out of their way to run their mouths. Ryan was asked how he thought his team woudl do and he simply said what he thought.

Sports reporters are idiots. They ask players stupid questions like "how do you think you'll do against (blank)?" If the player (or coach) says that they think they'll win the next day's headline talks about a guarantee. Then that same reporter goes to the opposing team to see how they respond.

Rex Ryan thought the Jets had a really good chance to win and he fostered that in his players. He wanted them to have confidence. All along he said that he encourages his players to talk the talk, but reminds them that they have to walk it on Sunday. Nothing wrong with that.

I hate when players and coaches get all vanilla in their answers. I hate Jim Tressel's politically correct pregame jibberish. Two great teams my butt! If you don't think you're going to win you might as well not bother playing.

I wasn't rooting for the Jets but I did find their swagger refreshing. Praise Manning but stop hating on Ryan because you're still grinding an axe over Mangini. Your boyhood bro is an incompetnet troll who will have his hand held by Mike Holmgren next year. Deal with that reality, Arace.

Say what? I know you guys are now pushed to write more colorfully, but this is gibberish and it adds nothing. In fact it detracts.
