Interestingly enough, it would be huge to beat a middle tier BCS program like Navy or Wisconsin. Navy is a blue color team. A victory over Wisconsin means more than one over Navy. However, Wisconsin has been going downhill the last four years, so if there was a coaching issue, the advantage shifts closer to the warriors.
By beating the teams with a pre-season ranking in the bottom 25%(rank of 90 or higher)
Hawaii is in position to say they are worthy of a non-BCS bowl. Look only one team on the schedule made the Top 25 last year and is in the top 10 preseason rankings. Yes preseason rankings don't mean anything, but this is what it takes for Hawaii to be bowl eligible. Last year Hawaii beat Fresno State, so hopefully better work happens.
