I've been watching the nfl for aroun 50 years. It has been the most exiting sport we have but the owners are changing all that. I've seen this coming for a long time. First the owners tried to buy championships by buying players at outragious salaries. Now they have to protect their investments by changing the game. Ray Lewis is right it will become flag football. And who the hell wants to watch that. Do you think that the fans are going to keep paying these high ticket prices to see the exciting players like Harrison and Lewis being fined for doing exactly what the fans want. These players are being paid very well for the punishment they take on the field. Most of the people in this country don't make in a lifetime what they make in a month. Get a grip they aren't ballet dancers or pro golfers , they are being paid to give a beating and take one when needed. The owners make a huge paycheck but if they continue changing a game that don't need changed they'll loose their meal ticket and we'll loose the nfl. P.S. investors start looking for sexy ladies in two piece bathing suits with flags on their sides. The nfl of the near future!

Yes it is "Professional Football"......

Supposedly a cut above "Amateur Thugball".

Useing physical harm as a weapon on an opposing player is only saying you don't have the ability to outplay your opponet so you resort to violence to gain the upper hand. Much the same as any coward loser thug on the street operates.

If so called "pro" football players want to use any and all tactics to harm opposing players they need to disband their players union and stop their whining about needing higher pay, benefits and retirement because they may be hurt or have a career ending injury.

Stop your whining, crying, wearing girlie earrings, drugs and play and act like Professional people.....a cut above other players.

If you can not control your actions and animal ARE NOT a PROFESSIONAL.

The best thing that can happen to the NFL at this time is a "lost" season......A year of NO income for the League, the owners, the players, and the media.....
