Ray Lewis Q&A

Full story: South Florida Sun-Sentinel

A- "I think the bottom line is, you see the things that they're doing and they're just playing safe football and being careful with the ball and things like that.

Am sure this time around we are ready for them, and even more physical and angry ...its the only way for these dolphins..to take it ti the enxt level, who knows maybe they still have a few tricks and emotionally they have saved the best for the ravens this week.I think ravens have the edge on paper..but am sure miami knows whats coming to town and they are experienced enough at this point of the season to just not lay flat on their back!

Ray Lewis is the best defensive player ever to put on a pair of shoulder pads..His leadership is worth every penny. And deep inside, terell Owens, when he was a free agent before sighning with philadelphia, wanted no part of being a Raven cause he new if he pulled his crap,in the Ravens locker room,he would answer to Ray...Ray doesnt get mentioned in the same sentence as laurence Taylor, because he doesnt get ten sacks every year,,well i got news for you people,,inside linebacker,,and outside linebacker are worlds away...
best defenders ever in order,,Ray Lewis,Laurence Taylor,Ronnie Lott...then the field..One more thing Ray lewis was accused ofr stabbing and killing two men,,when the police pulled him over ten minutes later,,he didnt have one spec of blood on him..which is impossible if you stabbed two people to death,,the only thing Ray was guilty of was..Remaining silent when talking to the police, which is an american right,,look at the facts without, hate or predjudice,,and salute the best football player ever to play the game..Ray..good luck against the Dolphins this week,id like to see you win one more super Bowl, before you retire,,and god bless you,,,It was an honor to watch you all these Sundays, watching you play with passion..and letting us see what your soul is made of...unlike your peers ..we know the game,,is a true love of yours..love ya Ray keep your head up..god blesss you..

Hey Rich C calling Ray the best ever is an insult to players yet to play.

And dont give us this crap about the only thing he did was keep his mouth shut. maybe he kept his trap shut because it was one of his thug friends that did the killing you ever think of that. Ray is a bum and a thug and nothing more. big deal he is a good ball player so was Bonds and O.J but we know what type of people they were away from the sport now dont we.

He talks about chemistry, but they had the same personel last year and they sucked and it carried over to the begining of this year. What's helping thier defense is thier offense is playing much better, keeping them off the field. If you can disrupt thier team chemistry by attacking thier weakest areas on offense, defense and special teams and not giving them the ball they'll lose.
On offense thier qb hasn't taken a real whipping. Thier defense isn't that great when thier offense gets pounded and they have to stay on the field and are beat when they blitz.

Suggs is playing better than ray Lewis.
Where was ray last year when they stunk?
Their emergence has to do with the play of the rookie. If he falters the team will loose. Kill the head and the body will follow.

"Their emergence has to do with the play of the rookie."

Really, I guess have the number 2 defense in the league had absolutely nothing to do with winning. And have the most defensive turnovers and def. TD.

Newsflash, Miamis defense is not better than the Cowboys,Giants,Steelers, or Titans All teams we have played and Flacco has been sacked but does not show emotion when it happens. Miami has nothing new on defense to show Flacco. Hes already been against Ware,Harrison, Woodley, Tuck, and Suggs in practice. All players are better than Porter. Ray Lewis MADE THE PRO BOWL AGAIN. We won our Superbowl with a weak offense. Our offense has been gettin pounded for the last five or six years and we still had the top defense in the league.

Go get your facts straight fair weather fans

Ray got in trouble once early in his career. He was never accused of killing anyone, only not telling the police what he knew. It was wrong and paid a high price that he would not have had to pay if he were just some guy off the street. He learned from his mistake and has never been in trouble again. In fact he has spent every minute since being a roll model for young players ever since. Many many young players from teams all over the NFL have his phone number and call him for advice. He does not go out to clubs anymore, instead he sits home and watches game film. He is one of the best players ever to play the game and may be the best team leader to ever play. Even if you are not a Ravens fan, if you look at him with an objective point of view, you will know this to be true.

Ray lewis was guilty, still is guilty and he turned on his homey's. Kinda like all Raven fans who lost the colts in the middle of the night and then accepted someone elses(scab) team after knowing what its like to lose a team.Good luck sleeping at night Ray Lewis and any raven fans.ps: here is what the cops think. http://law.jrank.org/pages/3820/Ray-Lewis-Tri...

what are you talking about? weve played a much higher caliber of defensive teams. the titans, steelers twice, giants, cowboys, eagles etc. joe got sacked 5 times in the first half of the cowboys game. weve had the number two defense with a banged up secondary.

i dont understand what are you basing these outlandish statements on? it really doesnt matter, youll find out how good ray lewis and this defense can be in the playoffs this sunday. peyton manning sure couldnt handle it two years ago. pennington will get swallowed.

where do you get this crap from? he turned on his homies? lol, the entire case against him was a joke. its sad that every time his name is mentioned people like you have to scream bloody murder. ray had nothing to do with it and wasnt prosecuted for it.

Joe hasn't taken a whipping? He absorbed 5 sacks against both Dallas and Pittsburgh. the great thing about this kid is that he just keeps on getting up, and does not allow himself to be impacted by the previous play. He has poise under pressure, as he steps up to avoid pressure, and has the presence of mind to know where his receivers are when the pressure converges upon him.

Ray is the man...all those who call him a murderer are just jealous he doesn't play on their team. Whaaaaa! He has been nothing but a model citizen here and gives back to the community tremendously.

Jim, shut up. The Colts left when I was two so I dont have recollection of them being here. I just wish I could have rooted for the same name and colors as my father did, unfortunately Bob and Jimmy Irsay didn't give that same oppurtunity to the fans of Baltimore that Modell gave to the Cleveland fans. The Dolphins have one of the worst fan bases in country. If the Dolphins left tomorrow no one would care. Miami is like LA when it comes to football, the NFL just wants a team there because it's a big market. If I could have gotten a flight home I would have went to the game because you guys cant even sell out a play off game.

Your ignorance is becoming legendary. We have a lot of people who were on the team last year, but you fail to realize that 2/3 of our starters were injured. We played you with mostly second and third stringers. But, I don't have to tell you about how we perform when we have everyone because you already seen it with your own little beady eyes.

I love Ray-Ray coz he's a former CANES, but more and more his bark is louder than his bite this part of his career.
