One has to wonder what the qb position will look like with film on Kapernik and qbs like him and Defensive coaches making proper adjustments.
Folks ( alot of them) were excited about Mike Vick and look what happened there.

True, the first win helped them get the 2nd seed and bye and the second win moved them forward in the playoffs, but if you are going to get to the Super Bowl on the NFC side you will have to go through the Packers at some point... just like the NYG had to last year. But the Bears only got beat ONCE by the 9ers (twice by the Packers) because they couldn't make the playoffs for the 2ND straight year, hell they could even finish 2nd in the NFC North for the 2nd straight year... no wonder their team will have all new coaches!
All bs a side -- Enjoy the Super Bowl LBF, are you pulling for anyone or just watching? I think I will just be watching but maybe pulling a bit for the Ravens because I donít like Moss and I donít want him to be a ChampionÖ he is the biggest DBag in the history of the NFL imo.

this always happens with pro sports: attitudes, drugs, payoffs!!! I said during the ny giants playoff game I was gonna kiss off pro sports, and throw my 9er soap dish in the trash-- well this time its the payoffs and not the attitudes, STILL IT'S BAD ALL THE SAME.

Officiating has sucked all year, from amateurs to pouty old pros (yes, I also mean it (pros) in the 2dary context of their being whores)- to see a boogeyman & conspiracies & whine about fixes & the Mob and all that bullshit is just pathetic... Super Bowl's over, now get back to work.

No work today. Day after superbowl is a company holiday. No conspiracy theory here, Just stating the obvious. They didn't JUST lose because of the horrible refs. They could have played better in a lot of areas

Are you REALLY bitching about THAT, The_Solution? Looks like you are just as bad as an offensive coach as the San Francisco coach is, man!

This is the REAL situation, on how San Francisco COULD have taken the LEAD and CONTROL of the game. San Francisco had 1:50 left on the clock, they were on the 5 yard line, they had 4 ATTEMPTS to punch the ball into the end zone THROUGH RUNNING IT, and they had 2 TIMEOUTS!

What did San Francisco choose to do instead? Pass the ball 4 times and fail? RETARDED! This is the one reason why San Francisco LOST the game, as the Ravens merely SURVIVED the comeback, and didn't truly win that game.

I like both teams. I DON'T like David Akers or Randy Moss though. Glad to see Ray Lewis retire with another Super Bowl ring, even if his last game was HIS WORST game he has ever played, and the best plays for San Francisco's offence went DIRECTLY through Ray Lewis for the intermediate pass.

Again...Baltimore didn't WIN the Super Bowl...it was San Francisco that LOST the Super Bowl. When San Francisco gets rid of chumps like David Akers and Randy Moss, maybe get back Mario Manningham, and make a few key upgrades to their back 7 defensive linebackers and corners/safeties, THEN San Francisco will win the Super Bowl...and with a quarterback like Kaepernick, I'm sure that San Francisco will win more than just one Super Bowl...I would say that San Francisco wins 4 Super Bowls, to where people will then be scratching their heads, when other quarterbacks like Tom 'Spygate' Brady and Ben 'Rape'lisberger are mentioned!

Not bitching just stating the fact. You have no idea about by football iq. If you were involved with any of the football conversations around here you would clearly know I'm a clear headed football observer. Not some troll. They missed a huge game deciding call which is not acceptable. I agree the play calling was horrible on the last drive. They should have ran it 2-3 times. The linebacker corp Is great(probably the best group in the NFL) but I do agree they need help at corner back badly, epically at the nickel and dime position. I can't stand Rey Lewis' look at me attitude. I like his game but not his dancing and crap.

1 - Anquan Boldon was a receiving threat that San Francisco did not contain well

2 - Randy Moss is a chump, of whom the errant throw that Kaepernick threw in his general direction, that Randy Moss didn't even make an attempt on, ended up getting intercepted by Ed Reed. Randy Moss was virtually a non-factor, with several throws being tossed his way, and only 1 or 2 being caught by him. A second string receiver could have done better, and wound up being an MVP receiver in place of that overrated bum Randy Moss!

3 - The intermediate pass game, which was catching Ray Lewis flat footed, was not completely utilized

4 - San Francisco tried to force the issue with the run game, instead of playing the screen pass and the short and intermediate pass game, that the Ravens were basically giving San Francisco at the start of the game. Had San Francisco just taken what the Baltimore Ravens were giving to them, the running game would have eventually have opened up, and I figure that San Francisco would have won that game by 17 points!

5 - San Francisco's special teams was HORRIBLE! Players that are supposed to contain gaps, by even laying their own bodies on the line, didn't do so...this equates to the kickoff TD by Jacoby Jones...INEXCUSABLE!

6 - San Francisco's linebackers had a bad night, and their secondary had an even WORSE night!

7 - San Francisco never tried to run the ball into the end zone, with 1:50 left in the game, with 4 attempts to punch the ball into the end zone, and with 2 TIMEOUTS to their disposal. CRITICAL MISTAKE by the coaching staff...they are to blame for San Francisco losing...the referees never told San Francisco that they weren't allowed to call running plays when San Francisco was down there on the 5 yard line!

Now, list where the referees screwed over San Francisco...and DON'T mention anything about that 4th and goal play as an excuse, as Reason 7 pretty much covers that folly by the San Francisco coaching staff and San Francisco's offence.

It will come to pass that Colin Kaepernick will soon realize what he has for talent, and against the advice of his coaches, he will rally his offence, and make the CORRECT calls, when he is in the same situation next time, which should make him an elite, Hall of Fame quarterback...just like Peyton Manning...probably with the same amount of Super Bowl wins as San Francisco quarterback great Joe Montana though!

I can't hate on Ray Lewis's two step, as he likely could dance myself and many professional dancers off the stage with his moves...watch for him to be a star feature on 'Dancing with the Stars'...expect Anna Welker to be his dance partner, in her way of making amends with him, over the inflammatory comments she made about him...LOL!

I looked at that non-call, The_Solution, and if YOU had ANY football IQ, you would know that a defender can jam up a receiver for up to 5 yards! NEWSFLASH...the 49ers were on Baltimore's 5 yard line!

Maybe you will talk about Crabtree's impediment from catching the ball. The case is arguable, though it isn't a STRONG one, as Crabtree would not have been able to catch the ball, as it was overthrown. That is likely ANOTHER reason why the flag was not thrown in that instance.

But hey...if that is the ONLY thing that you think kept the 49ers from being Super Bowl champs, you have never played a game of football in your life (unlike myself)! Referees tend to let pushing and shoving occur between receivers and safeties ALL THE TIME...this DID happen between Crabtree and the Ravens' safety...don't conveniently ignore Crabtree trying to push off and jostle for position either!

So, let's give San Francisco the penalty, put them on the goal line, and let the San Francisco coaching staff call another play. Watch it be a passing play. Watch San Francisco botch the pass. Watch Baltimore take their safety. Watch San Francisco get the ball back, with 40 seconds, and 2 timeouts. Watch San Francisco get into field goal range. Watch San Francisco have to make a 32 yard attempt to force the game to go into overtime, The_Solution. Now watch San Francisco's ace kicker, lunkhead David Akers, MISS the field goal, and cost San Francisco yet ANOTHER game, as he has already missed 14 field goal tries this season! How do you explain that away, The_Solution? Why was David Akers on the team for THAT LONG, after his repeated blunders, that cost San Francisco playoff position in the NFC?

Want to know what solutions San Francisco needs? Trade Alex Smith, get what you can for Randy Moss and David Akers, bring in better safeties, get another prospective star linebacker, see the condition of Mario Manningham, and see if he will be well enough to fill Randy Moss's gap, or get rid of Manningham, and make a run to the Super Bowl next year, and trounce your Super Bowl opponent! THAT'S what San Francisco needs to do, right The_Solution?

They did run James on first down on the final drive. Why can't I mention that play??? There is no reason not to mention that play. Also when the ravens were taking the safety there was the most blatant hold right in front of the ref that was not called. That was the most egregious no call.

1st and goal at Baltimore's 5,4 downs and ZERO points and never ran! the thing that got them there.
Then again..
if the refs called that P.I on SF the last game vs ATL. ATL would have had a 1st and goal at SF 6,,1Minute left.

You sound like a jack ass. You can JAM but you can't HOLD. The hold was in the end zone so that shows ANY contact at that point would be illegal. If you knew how to read you would know I said the refs were not the only reason they lost. I think the defense is fine besides the corner positron and depth at d line and outside line backer. Akers has to go but there was no better option during the playoffs(billy Cundiff is just as bad). The safeties are amazing. They had a few bad plays in the game though. Moss was very average at best. He won't be missed at all if we don't choose to pick up the option on him next year. Manningham
And Kyle Williams back from injury will help a lot.
