I was at the game and also watched it at home the next day. Those jackets were grey. I'm not sure what you guys were seeing.

not s totally sure ,but what I heard from the talk shows yesterday the NFL determines what the coaches wear, they get a memo from the merchandising dept. of th NFL telling them what they can wear, which is ridiculous. Mike Nolan had to get special permission to wear a suit on the sidelines from the NFL when he was head coach of the 49'rs!

Both of you INDIVIDUALS's areing looking absolutely GORGEOIS in your sweeping flowing PINK GOWNS. I assume that your are fashion designers and not REALLY WRITERS of sport reporting! No wonder the parent company, TRIBURNE, is filing a chapter 13.

They can wear pink as long as the Ravens win.

They are not Lavender, they are gray, and other teams wear them also. Each team either wears gray or team colors, we seem to wear gray more than our team colors, I think we wore team colored jackets in a previous game last week or a few weeks ago

Mike B is exactly correct. the NFL uses the numerous shots of the coaches on TV during the games to sell product. Those jackets are on sale now at NFL.com . I think they are grey personally, but with lighting they may appear purple. They should have been black like the steelers coats.

I don't give a dilly-dilly if the coaches (or players) wear feathers as long as the team is winning.

BTW, "faceoff" is typically reserved for hockey and lacrosse ... not typewriter tappers watching sports on TV while eating Cheetos.

those were the ugliest jackets I have ever seen. did they come with potpouri bags attached to the inside? this was the most non-football, non-ravens attire possible. whoever ordered those should not be gettng a christmas bonus. I thought we would lose that game just by the way the staff looked. never again, give them to the cheerleaders and move on!

I didn't notice the jackets. I'd rather have these suscessful coaches wearing whatever, rather than clueless Billick blowing kisses at opposing players as he did in the New England game last year. It's a hugh step up.

Articles like this is the reason the sun is going down, just like it's parent company. Complete dribble.

Come on guys, lighten up. we have a lot more to worry about then what there wearing on the side lines. they could be wearing pink bows in there hair for all i care , as long as we kick the crap out of the hated steelers.lets get serious and ready for the game. Go Ravens, and get cheap shot ward while your at it. Now is our chance to get even , there in our house now. Ravens 17 Steelers 10.

I am more embarrassed that the Sun would find this subject newsworthy. I think we found an example of why your parent company has field for bankruptcy. Maybe Keith and Candus need to work in the mailroom or something.

Hey KVV, Does Mike Tomlin ever wear a YELLOW jacket on the sidelines? No. Coach does have another choice of team colors, and I dont think it will be too tepid outdoors on Sunday to wear black. If these are the types of things your team and/or fans are concentrating on, then my Steelers will have no problems whomping your lilly lavender wearing baby bums this weekend. Good luck with your poseur defense.#1 in total defense, against the run, against the pass, and all going into week 15, not week 2 when you fools were saying it.

"Cheap Shot Ward" has your entire defense's head on a collective swivel when he is on the field. Mission accomplished. You would love him on your team.

Don't be silly. The jackets should be black and gold and stop calling them coaches and start calling them zoo keepers.
