There are 18 comments on the TwinCities.com story from Nov 29, 2010, titled Vikings' defense turns up the heat against Redskins. In it, TwinCities.com reports that:

Donovan McNabb was far too comfortable. As the Redskins' quarterback opened the game with an 84-yard passing exhibition and four consecutive third-down conversions, the Vikings' defense evoked memories of a 31-3 loss to Green Bay two weeks ago.

Good win a way from home for team that needs to rebuild its confidence.

Yes,. and while they are at it, how about rebuilding the Special Team tackling on Enemy punt and kickoff returns...And,most of the Offensive line still looks like a pound of Wisconsin Swiss Cheese.....

Frazier was way too conservative as the defensive coordinator. He wanted to rush only 4 so they could have the cover guys but the other team was still completing passes. So you might as well blitz - look at Pittsburgh, the Jets, and the Chargers - they all bring the pressure on big downs. They are not passive.

Sure hope you are correct! If not, it will be business as usual..Only difference then would be, Frazier has some of his hair to pull out..Childress already lost all of his...In addition to his play calling...

If the vikings are going to win the defence has to keep the heat up. There are no better front four than the vikings front four they just need to keep it up go vikings.

yeah and the vikings might not be able to draft high enough for a QB in the draft if they go 8-8 or even 7-9 any thoughts on that, sort term win loss in the long term

Can't ever play to loose. We usually draft good. We'll just see what pics we have and who is available. Otherwise it's a trade for Kolb or ???

Is that an attempt at a sentence?

If the offense would have been run like this from day one this team would have at least 3 more wins!
(& if the refs did not give the Pack that "gift" victory).

Face the facts, the only teams the Vikings can beat this year are teams with losing records.

Get ready to raise the 0for50 banner, not many teams have accomplished this feat. Finally something to be proud of.

Go Vikings, straight to LA.

Favre was a total longshot. All or nothing.
Childress bet his job on it and LOST!

The "missing piece of the puzzle" strategy is not new.

Denny Green tried to land Dan Marino.

We knew the Childress longshot was done in N.O. in January.

It totally sucks. Sometimes you lose.

To be fair, the Chilly gamble is to be admired, but his other moves really crippled things. Sage was okay at 2. Chester was good at 3rd down and blocking. The Moss thing was the end for Zigi, and there is no depth anywhere....

This will take a while to fix. But by god, we witnessed it,
an all-or-nothing gamble that went south.

Defense and the fact there were no turnovers on the Vikes part and only 3 penalties for; it is fairly consistent how the result usually ends up favorable to the team who doesn't "shoot itself in the foot".

Turnovers have been conspicuously missing.

Very little pass rush compared to 2009........

Cedric Griffin on IR, Sharper let go to the eventual Champs and Benny Sapp in Miami?

What does the triangle of authority do all year, anyway?

They sure don't work the phones.

Maybe Avant can help.
He answers phones in Vegas. No wait, not that kind of......

I think they're somewhere around -12 now, pathetic........

Griffen was hittin' his stride when he re-injured, that was a hurtpiece.

With Edwards hurt maybe Robison can provide a spark for that rush, I like his game, he gets after the QB pretty dam good.

Read an article a bit ago that said the Vikes are prepared to offer Vick big bucks......do the Vikes need that bad Karma? Don't we have enough bad luck? Call me superstitious if you will but that is my take on Vick. Eagles will slap a franchise tag on him anyway more than likely. He is playin' light out, I give him that.

Vick crushed the Redskins with a passing clinic.

Against the Giants, he was not so good. NY figured out that smaller, faster guys (DBs) could rattle Vick.

The Chicago game was ugly.

I think Vick is a horrible idea for the Vikes.

If Vick wins the SB, I'll consider it.
