Yeah right... Year before last, GB was laughable. There was a lot of people thinking that McMuffin would be turning burgers with T.T. in GB.(add Childress)- Just shows how fast things change in this league. Respectfully, I think that your "copycat" theory is caca. MN was at the brink in NO. Got ripped-off BIG TIME. A LOT of other folks in the NFL thought the same. Then, last season, MN looked like $h!t. THAT'S how fast things change. Also, how many teams repeat a SB win the next season?
Want to hear something really laughable?

The year before last the Vikes had a “Suber Bowl ready team” except no QB.
Enter Brett Favre, one of the greatest QBs of all time.
This guy has one of his finest seasons of his career ….
Still still still the Vikes could not win a Super Bowl.
What does it take for this franchise to win a Super Bowl?
They had it all in place and one the best QBs of all time having one of his best seasons!
But NO not even he could save the truly pathetic Vikings

But wait it gets even more laughable!
The 50th year in Vikings history! 2010 season for the Vikings, the most miserable, pathetic, drama filled season I have ever seen for any team ever. Here are some of my favorite highlights

Begging and I mean begging Favre to come back (20 million contract?)
Sidney Rice “screws” them?(is it all really his fault?)
Sapp for Camerillo- did ya see those DBs for the Vikes (sad, very sad)
Basket to the rescue (the WRs still suck)
Randy Moss blunder and losing a 3rd round pick (they need that pick)
Had to fire your Childress during the season (are they still paying him?)
Favre and Jenn scandal (not the Vikes fault but a fun side show)
Stadium roof collapse (final kick in the dink for good measure)
6-10
Last place in the North
Worse then the LIONS!!!
GREENBAY PACKERS SUPER BOWL CHAMPS!!!!!

Good luck with 2011 it can’t get worse!
Way to stay optimistic about how quick things change in this league but one thing we all know very well has not changed in 50 years….. well you know what I am talking about right?

Ha ha, you know I agree with almost all of your post though, as a Vike fan it was the toughest year in memory (Besides the Les Steckle season)

I said it before, the Pack earned the Superbowl win the old fashioned way- by earning it. That team has my utmost respect.

Having said that, the Vikes just might have a surprise or two for your guys next season-

I was listening to Packer preview the morning of the Packer-Patriots game and all I heard from Dave Synican was next year. They should fire the coach, get healthy and hopefully make a run next year. The Pack had a couple good months behind Rodgers squeaking out a few wins all the way to the Superbowl. Still believe New Orleans was the class of the NFC and that parity in the NFL is decided by QB play. Enjoy the Superbowl win knowing your biggest fan was calling for coach's head not even two months earlier- not exactly an enjoyable Superbowl season.

“Not an enjoyable Super Bowl season”?

What in Gods name are you talking about?

As if any Viking fan would know about “enjoying” a Super Bowl season! The Packers are the SUPER BOWL CHAMPS, how would that be any less enjoyable! Oh gee maybe if the Vikes finished butt last in the division the same year, maybe that might be “enjoyable”

Truth is the season was a blast! Over coming all the injuries and narrow defeats only to win out the final 6 games to be crowned NFL CHAMPS!

Do you really think Packer fans look back and say “Damn it if only Dave Synican would have believed 100%, then it would have been so much more enjoyable” I bet Packer fans across the country are just tossing and turning at night because they can not fully “enjoy” the Super Bowl season because of Dave Synican comments before the Patriots game. I don’t know or care who Dave Synican is.

Not enjoyable!?!? Only a Viking fan could come up with something so ridiculously stupid.

Isn't that's the truth, some of these people yapping are the same ones talking about great a season the Vikings had losing the NFC Championship last year now telling Packers fans they didn't dof anything this season winning the Super Bowl. Proving once again how delusional Viking fans are.

Brian Robison deserves all the cash he can get. I hope the Vikes keep on signing every single second team player they can find. Chad Clifton is laughing today.

I hope to get the chance to sit on Brett Favre's face and perhaps produce a few loud farts.

?

respect, hardwork

how about a loss to the vikes in GB and taking advantage of a viking and cowboys team going down the drain, lost to almost all good teams they played, this team shouldn't have made it to the playoffs yet blown ref calls in their favor (well the franchise had internal turmoil over the favre thing and a no playoff season and a early bye the following year Goodell knew something had to be done so a little help and a blown Giants game, I've already commented on the post season)

really?

erie, I thought you were smarter, real let down
