Impressive D, considering how many 3-and-out drives the Vikes had in the first half. Still, the offense looks like it has serious potential, if they get enough reps during the week. This Vikings team looks like it has a chance to become dangerous, but unfortunately time is quickly running out. Looks like injuries to Bears and Packers key players (like their QB's) may be the only hope for the Vikings to compete in the Central Division.

The NFL's annual war of attrition again will determine who wins and loses. That's why it's so important to have good players (like Favre) that have a knack for avoiding serious injuries.

Dig up Schnelker!
The naked telegraphed laidoff to the one back is laughable.
Disgraceful performance!

The Vikings are indeed capable of being a top-flight caliber team. It is up to the entire team and coaching staff to prepare themselves for this quality performance. I will bet the farm that the Vikings beat the Cowboys this weekend or else I will have to leave the farm and move to the city....P.S. I like farm living so Vikings don't let me down,,,

Jeremy you should apoligize for the headline. Very poor attempt. The Vikings looked pretty darn good in the second half made the game pretty entertaining. I thought the special teams let the defense down when they gave up a 80 some yard return to slow down the mo the had going. The Vikes need to win the division.

that was a butt whoopin...
the record pretty much reflects how the
TEAM has played this year...
if last nights' game doesn't give the Vikes some sense of urgency then it's already over.

Brett Fart is done - plain and simple.

The 41 year old fart won't last the season. Maybe he can make it as an aging porn star.

Harvin said in interview to ask the coaches why the first half offense was so bad, that is basically him saying that the coaching is pathetic but he can not say it without receiving the wrath of Childress, but he said enough to confirm what the fans, Tv Commentators and ex-Coaches all says. That Coaching is CLUELESSSSSSS! Season is one to two games from being over, matter of fact if we lose to Cowboys it over and vise versa for the Cowboys. This is a big game with the loser in a death spiral.

I agree, the worst thing a team can do is give up the big return after their team makes a comeback. The Vikes do it alot, Including O.T. kickoff to the Saints in NFC championship game.

Play joe webb - hes smarter than tjack and can throw the ball better - hes more athletic, faster, and knows how to get the ball down the field. Jackson should be third string if not on the practice squad.. Favre is obviously done and wont be able to make it through the season. And if he does he will set the all time INT record for a single season and the vikes will pile up the losses. Get him out now, put a healthy young qb in there, fire chilly, send bevell packing, and just focus on discipline. Can they get all that done before sunday ya think? Just hope they can get more than one first down in the first half of this next game... lol ouch

It's defense that will win this one- plus Brett getting settled and finding the wideouts...

Oh yeah, and AP getting over 100 yards.

I agree and I am an online Ninja. We need to beat the pathetic teams so we can all think our Vikings are still good which they are really not when they lose to the good ones.

The feet of Brett Favre stink worse than limburger cheese and he has no interest in dealing with the problem.
