This is why I was so adamant HOPING THE Vikes could get a 1st round pick(tender) for him and let Robison get his chance, crap like this with him. MAYBE THE Vikes should have ONLY tendered him with a second round pick. Some other team will eventually scoop up Robison, he deserves to start somewhere, hopefully it will be for the Vikes for years to come and not this guy, but I will hold my tongue and see, hopefully he will be a beast this season, starting tomorrow.

I do not think you should go to a bar since you are on probation for being a big fat drunk ! But go ahead so they will lock you up and we will not have to read your anal posts

I would really like to see Robison step in and give Jared Allen a breather now and then- but J.A. won't come out of the game! It seems to me at times he was winded a time or two last year, but stayed in and didn't get it done. Now if the coaches would force him out...

WHAT IS UP BIG e-TOOK ME TWO DAYS TO RECOVER FROM SATURDAY, I am not doing that again for awhile. Got to agree with your synopsis of the game tomorrow, got to establish the run, or rather it would be nice to so Vikes can keep the Aint's O off the field. Control the clock, limit turnovers-obviously-and come with some timely blitz's a in order to catch Brees off guard, corner play is gonna be real important as well as Brees gets rid of it in a hurry so you have to hold the edges, Shepard better bring his A game. Vikes dominated last year with this team, no reason to think they won't do it again.

And you are right about Allen, he doesn't come out, that's probably a good thing though. Coaches give him "carte blanche" at his position, he decides when and if he comes out, Robison can play both ends and usually gets a few reps per game, I love his rush, it seems he always gets "deep penetration" when he is in, much like the ladies say about me-lol, I wish, huh?

I was screaming the same thing all during that tender period.

I was also hoping they'd try to trade Chester Taylor before 2009. I know he was valuable in MN last year, but I also knew he would likely leave for another team where he wasn't stuck behind AP, and there would be nothing the team could do to keep him.

Imagine a 1st or 2nd round pick for Edwards this year, and maybe a 4th for Taylor last year.

That could be the difference between the present o-line, and one with better players and more depth this year.

I remember you talking about Taylor, good call.

I thought New Orleans or Philly may bite on Edwards when the Vikes tendered him, especially N.O., they actually went out and got 3 new Ends I believe in the off-season, Edwards is only 25 and with the league being so vertical now those kinds of young good speed/pass rushers are in high demand, surprised there wasn't more interest shown in him.

Yeah, the Vikes certainly could have used those picks for an upgrade at the tackle and/or center position, or even in the secondary.

LOL- hate it when that happens-

Remember at the start of last year- one reason Brett came back was the idea he wouldn't have to throw as much- what with AP and Taylor running the ball and taking the workload. Then of course we know he went on to throw an insane number of passes-

This year, perhaps the focus WILL be more on the run, partly from missing Rice, partly because the run attack is a strong one, and more so to set up the play action. I don't think a whole lot of straight back drop backs to pass will/should be on the menu this year- a little deception could go a long way in protecting the QB- keeping off the pressure that other teams are sure to employ.

Robison is just too good a player- ever notice how at times a OL seems to "get Allens number" and shut him down? Put Robison in there for fresh legs and a different attack- that's on the coaches- they should taze the Mulleted Madman and drag him off the field!!!

It's almost here buddy- GO VIKINGS!!!!
