I have said, going back 25 years, that as long as boneheads keep buying tickets and, now, PSLs, we are never going to see a real football team in Chicago.
You will notice that with the passing of Bill Wirtz and the ascension of Rockie, the seats at the United Center are finally refilling. It's a different scenario with the Bears and Soldier Field, but the basic premise remains.
Throw any kind of team on that field, and "they will come"!
they were in the super bowl last year

Well people make their own decisions. The bears should resovle Brians contract because he is a great linebacker and maybe a hall of famer.

Four years remaining on a $4mil/yr contract, and he wants an extension? He's barely into his present contract. Okay, the guy is very good at what he does, but the team has other needs to address as well.

DiMz-
We're on the same page, of course, and want to be done with the frustration of "almost" teams.
Making assumptions, from your name and IP address, I'm reminded to get over to St nmmnmmnm (sorry forgot the name of the church, that used to have Italian fest) and have some Italian sausage sandwichs and hear some real music, for a change.
Go Blackhawks, at least.
